who is getting the ''You cannot make another search so soon after your last; please try again in a short while'' message when I hit my back button, forums tab, View posts since last visit tab?
It's happening randomly but very frequently.
It's been since the time site went all iffy.
It's so annoying.

I have altered the configuration, so please see if that is any better. If not, I will alter it more.

Is it only me or is anyone else internet playing up?

My broadband keeps logging itself on and off like a yoyo

Mine was playing up as well until about midday. Mine's cable with NTL rather than ADSL but it was very slow to load pages or even find them. Email was working fine.

I have NTL too ...explains it

NTL have been doing lots of upgrade work between midnight and 6.00am on different days in different areas. If you phone 0800 052 4315 (freephone number) they list the days and areas where work is being carried out.

The morning after the one of the nights they did upgrades in my area, I couldn't get any Internet access at all and it turned out that the upgrade they had done, wouldn't work with my old modem, so they had to replace my modem with a newer one. I was without Internet access for 1.5 days until they came to fix it.

So I reckon CC, that the night you kept getting logged out, was a night they were doing upgrades in your area.

Aparantly I have been upgraded and it all seems ro be working ...for now
