i think it would be cool to log in on the topic you want to reply to.
so, let's say i wanted to reply to 1 of the big brother threads but i was viewing the forums as a guest

i could quickly click log in, and jum straight to that thread- and not just back to the index page

this particular time it's the ant and dec thread, so easy to find again.. but if it was say, a certain huge thread- which wasn't as easy to find, it would be an awsome idea to log in and jump to that thread

Yes that would be a good idea, but I don't really know if it is possible I'm afraid. The best idea would probably be to login before starting to look at the forum, then if you wanted to reply to something, you could easily do it. At the bottom of the Board Index page, there is a box you can tick which says 'Log me on automatically each visit'. I haven't used it myself, but I think that should save you having to log in each time.
