Everytime I come here now, I have to log in twice... the first time it displays my name but I have to log in again if I try to post...




Also when I do manage to be fully logged in, all the threads and forums show no new replies...


Am I the only one this is happening to? Getting well cheesed off with it!

I had that all last week.
Strange things have been happening with the net all weekend aswell. Twice I've had my IP configuration knocked out.
My Isp said it's more than likely something to do with this 'slammer' virus, although it mainly only affects those using a network computer. It's targeted at the Isp's and slows down the net, and messes up web pages. It doesn't harm your computer though which is good, but it's a pain in the bum.
They recommended I install adaware, as even browsing a page that has advertisement banners contains spyware, and this could throw out your net settings and configuration. I've installed it now, and since then I've had problems opening pages, but as soon as I do the adaware scan and delete any files (which are all cookies) it works fine.
I can't believe I never installed it before!

I always have to log in, it doesnt send me messages to tell me people have replied, and it tells me i am putting in the wrong password, when I know what im putting in!!!!

I wasn't getting email notifications either, but I was getting Pm notifications, it turned out that all the others were going into my junk mail, although I hadn't even touched my email settings.(Puzzling, as they both come from the same address) It happened at the same time the format changed. So check your junk folder, and put Forums@BBfans in the safe list if that's where they're going.
As for the logging in bit, It happens from time to time with me and have not cue as to why.

Im not getting all the pop ups when a pm comes in, sometimes it comes up sometimes it doesnt.

When I get to the site I log in, the screen refreshes but it loggs me out again...
