instead of banning HMs from nominating if they've "broken the rules"

BB should just say "We don't accept that nomination. You have to vote for somebody else or you're automatically up for eviction"

that would make things a bit more interesting IMO

That wouldn't be very fair on the second lot of people nominated as they would be the innocent victim.

The quickest way for your decision to work would be to cut out the middle section and say ''you're up!!'

BB is always looking for new ways-I think they might do that sometime.Take the two noms and then ask for two more that they take.

The thing with this is, they are scared to talk about anything. If they are bitching about someone and then say something, it could look like they are trying to persuade someone to nominate someone else, when in actual fact, they are just innocently bitching about them if you like. I just think if the word "nominating" or the word "nominated" are heard, then they should be called to the diary room. If they are going to be called to the diary room for things that could be taken as talking about nominations, then they could be called to the diary room for anything, they'll be walking on egg shells wondering what to talk about.

I think they should do a saturday task where the winner would be immune and the loser automatically up for nomination....but only the ones this effect would be told their result so any nomination they got would be null and void.

They have a spare room so why can't they get this ready during the week (so giving them time to make a better task) something like the crystal maze puzzles maybe. The can then each take turns but are not allowed to discuss anything about it.

This way not only do we get a good task but also when a group has too much influence the housemate to be targeted still has a chance ..unlike now....and housemates that think they are untouchable maybe aren't.

Bet they'd try with the task then ;)

and your point is ......

I want my HMs to be emotional wrecks ::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol::

but seriously if they were forced to vote for someone who they'd like, it may mean less character assasinations on Sat/Sun just before nominatons.

Personally I don't think HMs should be "pointing out" faults in other HMs, as it's a sly attempt to make sure nominations go a certain way

I wonder if the AMerican system of simply letting them talk about it would be better?

I'd be happy enough to let them discuss nominations, as long as they wouldn't get too much like Vic and Jay last year - that was ALL they ever discussed, and it got *old* very quickly.

They'd never know who they could trust, anyway!!! ::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol::

I'd like to see them make their nominations in front of each other.

poor idea because people wouldn't give full and frank reasons

also you'd have a similar situation to week 1 from BB3 (sorry mentioned it again), where after a few votes for Jade the rest followed the crowd.

some HMs wanted to keep Lynne, but didn't want to be the odd one out

Actually I think the problem with face-to face nominations is that it would allow people with names later in the alphabet to make tit-for-tat nominations, and the last person would know the totals and be able to choose exactly who ends up in equal second place.

IMO it's better to keep the nominations as they are BUT anyone caught trying to influence others should automatically face eviction ;)
