Bad Eggs



Derek has been at his most bitchy and cryptic this evening, suggesting the House needs a change of personnel. Luckily, he's in the right place.

He told Vanessa, "We're not getting rid of the right people quickly enough. Know what I mean?"

Vanessa just nodded, but when Makosi and Kemal joined them, Derek carried on.

"I just don't think we're getting rid of the bad eggs quickly enough. We're just getting more," he said, as Makosi and Kemal cracked up.

"This man is a bitch!" said Makosi, meaning it as a compliment.

"I love Derek," said Vanessa.

But if it looks like Derek is chumming up with Divas United he soon showed he could be catty about anyone. While he was eating dinner, Eugene asked him what the Reps were eating.

"Pasta," he said. "And Vanessa's had 10,000 biscuits as well."

It also seems like Kemal is turning out to be more of a stirrer than ever now. When Eugene came to sit down in the chair, Kemal couldn't change the subject quickly enough, and then of course all the others followed suit. Oh btw, they were talking about Orlaith and Eugene here i think.

Derek's probably referring to Orlaith more than Eugene. I think Derek appreciates having someone around who can actually hold a half decent conversation with him about various issues, I've seen them chatting away on a number of occasions so I'd be dissapointed if he did mean Eugene.

I know they were talking about Orlaith, i just thought they meant Eugene as well. I might be wrong on that then.

Yeah i saw the clip, but didn't really concentrate on who they were talking about, just before Eugene sat down.

I found Derek to be very cutting to Eugene on a couple of occassions - I think Derek prefers the chats he has with Makosi, Kamal and Vanessa, myself.

Orlaith definitely needs to go - she's vapid, self-obsessed and dull. She's getting on my nerves. Derek is absolutely right.

Maybe listening to someone waffling on about washing machines, toasters and planes is getting a bit boring for Derek I quite like Eugene because he doesnt bitch and wont be brought into arguments about the others but he has got to be the most boring individual I have ever heard in my life.

I'm no fan of Orla's but I prefer her over Makosi - simple reason, she can bitch but also she can hold conversations that are not incomprehensible.

Whoah. Isn't this blatant discussion of nominations?

If BB don't ban Derek and Vanessa from nominating next week they (BB) are a bad joke and we will know for sure they want one of Team B!tch to win.

But of course, BB will DO NOTHING!

And it's the same every series. Ho-hum.

As far as I can undersand the rules, you can discuss nominations, but not say anything that can be 'interpreted as an attempt to influence' them. The weasel word 'interpreted' means the rule is capable of wildly inconsistent application, but I think flexibility of applicaion is unfortunately essential, otherwise the whole lot of them would be quickly 3-strikes-and-outed and we'd be watching an empty house!

To me, Derek's latest campaigning is even more blatant than what Anthony and Maxwell did. There's wasn't vindictive and premeditated.

Derek calls Maxwell sexist for saying woman should clean. Well they are a bunch of scrubbers.

But didn't Derek say in Week 1 or Week 2, that the female HMs were so dirty they'd make terrible wives?

More double standards and hypocrisy.

Derek has condemned Orlaith's constant stripping as "almost abnormal" during a conversation with Eugene.

The blonde model changes her clothes at the drop of a hat, often flashing flesh as she does so. Derek, for one, thinks her behaviour is vulgar.

"I've never known a girl who takes her clothes off as much as Orlaith," he commented to Eugene. "It's almost abnormal," he added.

Always one to put a positive spin on things, Eugene praised Orlaith for "making the effort", and said that "she always looks good".

Virginal Eugene also thinks he knows the answer to Orlaith's changing addiction. "She is a model," he said.

"I've known top models and they don't behave like that," said Derek with a sniff.

But Derek's no prude, and though Orlaith's flashing does little for him, he has made a kinky request to Big Brother.

"I demand Big Brother think of parachuting in a rugger bugger who can roll in the grass with me," Derek said in the Diary Room.

Presumably, that rugby player would be allowed to change his shorts as often as he wanted...
