Orlaith and Vanessa are letting paranoia get the better of them, having convinced themselves that Maxwell and Science are on a secret mission that could see any one of them evicted tonight.

First they grilled Science and wouldn't accept his assurance. "I wish I was on a mission!" he told them. "Stop presuming things though, man. You guys are straight way off."

"Science is a good actor," said Vanessa, after he'd left the loft. "He almost convinced me."

"There is no mission," argued Makosi. "One of them is going. You guys are going nowhere, as long as you don't do anything stupid. Stay away from the Diary Room," she warned.

But when Maxwell made the mistake of returning to the loft, Makosi joined in the inquisition, but not before Vanessa jumped on him.

"I am not on a mission!"
"Sussed!" she said as he stepped in. "How comes you're so calm and collected about tonight, and so is Science? And you two won't argue anymore or nothin'. And you two keep getting called to the Diary Room together?"

"Who have you chosen?" asked Makosi.

"Oh, you lot. You guys," replied Maxwell.

And Orlaith begged that he tell her the truth so she could be prepared with her eviction outfit if necessary.

"You get f***in' dressed up to have a shower, Orlaith. So I'm sure you'll be fine," said Maxwell, not entirely reassuringly, but tiring of having to deny he's on a mission.

"This place is spooking me," admitted Orlaith.

that fact that both Orlaith and Makosi voted for Maxwell and Vanessa voted for Science doesnt' enter their minds.

don't they realise there's a link between their nominations and who's up for eviction

just because Makosi's lucked out with immunity tasks, doesn't mean Maxwell and Science are putting on an act - sheesh!

nice to know that V,O,M(it) think that Maxwell and Science should be sulking about possibly going tonight

WITH both of them up for eviction from the house tonight, arch-rivals Science and Maxwell finally made their peace early this morning..

The pair, along with Craig and Anthony, sat on the sofa for an unlikely chat, which for once didn't escalate into an argument.

"We're the same people in different walks of life," Maxwell told Science. "We don't bitch, we don't lie."

"I can see where you're coming from," Science replied calmly to the person he's never seen eye-to-eye with.

Anthony then told Science he thought he'd be evicted tonight, but also had good words for the man. "I don't think anyone will be able to say you weren't entertaining."

"I speak true, I speak solid," replied Science, before they all spoke about how the dynamics of the house had made it difficult for everyone to get on all the time.

But not missing an opportunity to be overly dramatic, Craig stated: "It's not a nice environment, the people here aren't nice and it's not meant to be fun and that's it - it's a horrible place to live."

After a moment of quiet, Science pointed out: "There's a lot of pretentious people in here."
