Former Big Brother star Shell is about to conquere new york with her charms, the Scotts model - who gained an army of fans during her stint in the BB house is currantly working in the preseigous Guggenheim musem. the initial job is for three months - but Shell says she's enjoying it so much she may stay longer and has already applied for other museum jobs in the city. Shell, who famously gained a 1st Class Degree while in the BB house, was one of only 20 people awarded the chance to work at the world renown museum as part of her MA in art History - which she is due to begin in October.
Shell said that she has met may new friends in New York and has never been anywhere like it - combined with her experience of work in the museum it is a dream come true.
Meanwhile, boyfriend Scott is waiting patiently at home in their Gasgow flat, Shell said that as usual he is being very supportive and understanding of her ambitioin. Asked if he had made plans for comming over to New York, Shell said that he was busey with he own plans at the moment but that she was looking forward to seeing him in a few weeks.
One of the highlights of her stay so far has been watching the sun rise over New York from Brooklyn bridge after being out dancing until 6 am. However non of her new friends are aware of Shells fame as a model and former BB star - one girl she works with had seen her on TV - but Shell asked her not to say anything, there were also some people from Scotland who were shouting her name in a bar - which puzzled her New York friends - Shells' reply was wonderful - "well Scotland is a small place."
However Shell also goes on to say that if it were not for BB she would not have been able to take the job - which is voluntary - and she would always be grateful for that. She is also continuing to write her column for the Sunday Mail on the currant BB series- and may consider continuing with her modelling career once she returns from the big apple.
Nice to see her doing something she really enjoys and having such a good time. and lucky for her that she has such an understanding and supportive boyfriend.
