Vanessa is warming to Science and cooling towards Derek, she revealed over lunch.
She was mightily impressed with Science's cooking and heaped compliments on his spaghetti bolognese with orange and lemon. Then she joined forces to bitch about Derek.
"See what you were trying to say to me about Derek? I could see it before but I can really see it clearly now," she said between spoonfuls.
"He's definitely the slyest person in the House," she continued. "He keeps trying to say things to me. He'll say who he doesn't like and 'All you've got to do is... Monday's coming soon...'"
Vanessa said she might tell Big Brother what he's up to, in case he's not been watching.
If Derek's ears were burning, it didn't show, as he was having them bent by Kemal from his sick bed. Though he couldn't eat it, Kemal was scathing of Science's cooking.
"I've never had spaghetti bolognese with orange. He wasted an orange. He doesn't have any concept of what goes [with what]."
Despite Vanessa's shifting opinion of Derek, she joined him and Kemal after lunch where Kemal got a taste of his own medicine - ironically, given his tender condition. Derek described the cake he made yesterday as "a disaster" and Vanessa agreed.
"It's Mongolian Coconut Cake. That's how it's supposed to be," said Kemal, defensively.
Maybe he should have put an orange in it?
