After leaving the House in tears and facing a noisy and somewhat hostile crowd, Vanessa joined Davina for a chat. Here's what she had to say...
I know you been through a lot, it's not just the booing, it's more the whole way you were evicted isn't it?
I think the worst thing was with Kemal being my best friend and Makosi's best friend, then he had to pick between me and Makosi.
What was worse, actually being evicted or the way you got evicted?
The way I got evicted, it was really really hard to deal with. I thought it was a lie at first.
How did it feel when everyone was saying you should go?
It was horrible! I knew that Makosi was the most popular girl in the house by far. I knew from the crowd that it was going to be the both of us up for eviction and for a second I thought it was going to be a double eviction, but then I realised when they said that everybody should pick one, and then I knew I was the one to go. I said to her all along that it was going to be me.
You thought Derek nominated and you were quite angry with him?
I know. We didn't know what was going on, it was really confusing.
I felt you had so much more potential in the house, we never saw it?
When I got in the first few weeks all the characters were so strong, I just felt a bit overshadowed by them.
It started with being quite fun bitching but then it got quite serious, were you aware of that?
No, I didn't realise it was that bad!
And also the sleeping, you just slept a lot?
I was ill with my injury and stuff...I just rested a lot.
What about Makosi? She's been fibbing a lot, where is the real Makosi?
I wondered myself sometimes but in the first week she had a lot to deal with.
Kemal thought she's a mole...
I thought she was a mole for a while.
Is it hard to make best friends with someone you can't trust?
I knew she'd be there for me but she does play a lot of tricks.
What about Kemal?
He's an incredibly nice guy but he can be insecure and he's got a lot of personal issues.
Did you like Orlaith or not?
She's a nice girl but I didn't know her that well.
What have you leant from your time in the House?
I've learnt that you can't always trust people, definitely not.
