Anthony Hutton from Consett is probably the most talked about man in Britain this weekend after winning Big Brother on Friday. In the News decided to speak to his biggest fan, Mary Hutton (aka Granny Hutton) about his antics in the house, his new best friends, and THOSE baby rumours.
Hi Mary, congratulations on Anthony's win. Have you spoken to him yet?
Yes. He phoned me in the early hours of Saturday when he was celebrating just to ask if I was proud of him. Obviously I am. I've been proud of him since he first drew his first breath. I adore him. He's fantastic.
We've got to ask, what did you think of the whole pool scandal with Makosi?
Well I know it didn't happen. He's assured me he didn't do anything that would make a baby with her and I believe him. When I saw it on the television all I could think was `come on, Grandma it's bed time!' I know he didn't do it but Makosi is just trying to make a quick coin out of him because she didn't win the programme. It's a lie.
So you didn't watch it then?
No I didn't. I trust him when he says nothing happened so there was nothing to see anyway.
Fair enough. What did you think of bunny boiler Craig?
I loved him. I spoke to him on Friday night on the telephone and he started to try and explain the way things had been edited but I told him not to worry.
So you'd have him over for tea then?
Of course. He can come and visit me any time he wishes. Anthony will definitely stay friends with him for life. They had a really fun time in the house and any friend of Anthony is a friend of mine!
Lucky Craig. What about the rest of Team Saskia?
I love Maxwell and Saskia too. They can pop in for tea whenever they like as well. None of them were ever mean to Anthony, unlike some of the others. Some of them will certainly not be invited round!
Like who?
Well that Derek. He was just a mean, vindictive man. When he was telling Anthony to get back down the pits and when he was talking about peasants I just thought "ooh, give me a minute with that man...."! And Kemal as well. He could be mean at times but I don't think he knows who he is really.
Who's your favourite?
I don't really know.

Well Science was a lovely man. I spoke to him and he was just like he was on the telly. I didn't really understand anything he was telling me but he seemed to be saying nice things!
Let's hope so, otherwise Anthony will probably have something to say about him.
Yeah, he loves his nan.
