He was proved innocent after 2 court cases...

The former boss of the Big Brother house mate at the centre of a rape investigation has revealed that he was accused of sexual assault by the TV wannabe.

Charles Cartwright stood trial twice after being accused of fondling BB star Lesley Sanderson, after the first jury couldn’t reach a conclusion. On the first day of the second trial the judge threw out the case saying that Sanderson’s story was inconsistent.

Ex-pub landlord Cartwright called the buxom reality celebrity a “vile fantasist” and said that her accusation had ruined his life.

Cartwright has now rebuilt his life in Spain but speaking of the incident to the News of the World he said “I have asked myself a thousand times what her motive was. She craves attention, maybe this was a way of getting it.”

No one would accuse BB house mates of craving attention, but you would hope that there are better ways of getting it than crying rape.

Its all too easy for people to cry rape nowadays.

Why has she waived her right of anonymity?

Lets see it go through the courts.

By the way, men that are accused of sexual assaults should have the right anonymity as well as the girl. Remember John Leslie? He was found not guilty yet his life is ruined.

John Leslie wasn't even charged, and now Leslahs gone sub-judicee, seems highly unlikely this guy will be either

Being found not guilty doesn't mean he wasn't guilty. I believe the woman involveds story but that's just my opinion.

I think people wave anonimity with the hopes that it will help other victims. Other times perhaps it is the whole upset of it all and they aren't thinking straight and want as much punishment as possible for their attacker. Who knows? Who can judge? I wish Lesley all the best, I think she's an insecure girl who doesn't like herself very much despite what she says. I hope she finds peace in herself and happiness and that justice is done in whatever form it takes.

This would make 2 accusations Leslahs made, and the fact she blames the entire last experience on BBs editing is confusing

I think you're being a little judgemental too Rincewind. More than a little in fact. Lesley said that she got a bad reaction from the public and blames that reaction on editing. She didn't actually say Big Brother or bad editing are responsible for her being raped.

I'm sorry Hippo if it wasnt' clear what I meant. I beleive Ulrikas story - I didn't think it needed spelling out which is why I didn't want to post her name.

Umm, not making any judgement, I wasn't in the room with them. The headline in the scum was "Big Brother ruined my life.. I've been bottled kicked and now raped"

Just believe court of law is the best way to determine this stuff, not the tabloids.

Surely men should have the right to anonymity until proven guilty, like the victims?

Yes they should, but it's something thats difficult for most people to understand unless they know someone that's been in that situation which unfortunately I do.
