Craig Coates Q&A
Has finding fame on Big Brother 6 gone to the hairdresser’s head?
QWhat’s the first thing you do when you get up?
A “Have a shower.”
Q Who does the housework in your house?
A “My dad. I don’t – I hate it!”
Q What was the last meal you made and when?
A “It sounds really bad, but it would have been a sandwich on Big Brother! I detest cooking. The only reason I made food in the house was for something to do.”
Q What snack would you buy from a newsagent?
A “A chocolate bar, like a Double Decker. They taste alcoholic to me – that’s why I like them! I’d never go for the healthy option, just chocolate or a sausage roll.”
Q When was the last time you cried?
A “In the Big Brother house, after one of the many fights. I never cry in the real world – that’s what really shocked my family.”
Q When was the last time you got drunk?
A “Last Tuesday night, I went to a fashion party and got tipsy. I love cosmopolitan cocktails at the moment – they’re delicious. I had some made with Martini and watermelon that were a really pretty colour. They look fab when you drink them.”
Q Which celeb do you secretly fancy?
A “Vin Diesel is amazing. If I met him I’d say: ‘You’ve gotta get into bed with me!’”
Q What’s the weirdest fan experience you’ve had?
A "Someone cut out every article about me in every magazine and newspaper, and wrote comments on them. They presented it to me in a box with rose petals in it."
Q What’s your favourite item of clothing?
A “My Vivienne Westwood belt. It’s a huge gold one. I thought: ‘I want this!’ immediately.”
Q Give us a hangover cure...
A “A donner kebab does the trick.”
Q What is your secret hidden talent?
A “I’m an expert in body language. The other housemates didn’t realise but I was analysing them. Let’s just say that a couple could swing in both directions…”
Q What’s the best thing about being famous?
A “You get treated better. I can get a cab in five minutes and I don’t have to queue when I go out.”
Q Who would you like to swap places with for 24 hours?
A “Simon Cowell, because I think he’s brilliant on The X Factor. He’s harsh, but that’s what people watch the show for. I love him slating people – he’s really evil. All the judges are amazing and it really works.”
