Big Brother winner Anthony Hutton appears to have fallen flat on his face in his quest for dancing superstardom.
The cheeky Geordie chappie seized every possible opportunity to show off his 70s dance 'moves' in the Big Brother house over the summer and, following his victory, embarked on a mission to become a latter-day John Travolta.
Last week he released his first - and in all probability last - DVD, the snappily titled Anthony's 70s Disco Workout - hoping that grannies in front rooms up and down the land would be strutting their funky stuff along with him.
However, his hopes appear to have been dashed, with the DVD selling just 1,024 copies in its first week and entering the charts outside the top 200.
In a last-ditch attempt to shift the DVD, its distributors have decided to slash its recommended retail price by £5.
But with Big Brother Six long forgotten and Anthony usurped by more recent reality TV icons Chico and Shayne of X Factor fame, the odds look stacked against poor old Anthony.
So next time you stop off to fill up at a petrol station, don't be surprised to see Ant's cheesy grin staring out at you from the 99p bargain bin.
