Tv Personality Jon Tickle was in Aberdeen at the weekend as part of this year's TechFest.
Tickle, a genuine science fan with a degree in physics, presents TV show Brainiac.
Known as The Tickle to his fans, he made a popular appearance at TechFest - an annual festival of science, technology, engineering and maths - which is being held this month.
Jon entertained the audience with stories of his childhood and described memorable Brainiac experiments including walking on custard.
Fans had a chance to ask Jon their own questions and then met him at a signing after the event.
Other events taking place during TechFest include the popular Family Activity Weekend which takes place at the Beach Ballroom and Leisure Centre with more than 30 interactive shows and workshops.
The family weekend takes place this Saturday and Sunday.
