THE countdown to Glasgow's pantomime season is under way and some of the stars tried their glass slippers on for size as they launched this year's show - Cinderella.
X Factor contestant Nikkita will play the girl who dreams of marrying Prince Charming in the Pavilion Theatre's version of the famous fairytale.
She will be swapping the cruelties of X Factor judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh for mistreatment by her ugly sisters, played by dames Dean Park, above left, and Derek Lord.
The show also sees Real Radio DJ Cat Harvey as the fairy godmother, left, with River City favourite Joyce Falconer playing the baroness.
Big Brother winner
Cameron Stout, Jim Byars, Johnny Laff and Douglas Sannachan are also in the show, which opens on November 28.
Pavilion general manager Iain Gordon said: "This year's production has an all-star cast and will be full of fun for all the family in true Pavilion style."
