EMMERDALE cast members will take part in a football match in aid of a town's swimming pool.
The stars will take on Tadcaster All-Stars at Ings Lane, Tadcaster, next month.
The town's swimming pool was shut on June 7 after lifeguards spotted loose tiles on the floor of the tank. An appeal was then launched to raise the £100,000 needed to repair hundreds of tiles.
The football match has been organised by Emma Shooter, whose two-year-old son Ben is in the ITV show.
Joining the soap star team that includes James Hooton, who plays Sam Dingle, Kelvin Fletcher, who plays Andy Sugden, and Ben Freeman, who plays Scott Windsor, will be reality TV star Jeff Brazier and
Big Brother Six winner Anthony Hutton.
