That article states that viewers will choose the new inmate.......that was done before (successfully).

Call me a cynic if you like but this time I feel its an almost desperate attempt to rekindle an interest in a programme that is just not "doing it" this year.

Viewing figures.....down
Voting revenue.....down
Advertising revenue......not down..yet


Something has to be done quickly.......ah yes....lets pretend to involve the public.That way ....new media coverage,increased revenue,doubles all round for the production company.

Have any big wigs from Big Brother said anything yet? they seem enormously arrogant to me and I would be very surprised if they came out and admitted that either the housemates aren't as interesting as before, viewing figures were down etc. Obviously we know all this, but I think viewing figures would have to drop down into double figures before they actually admitted it.

Stick a BB producer in there and let the HMs maul them and barbecue them. They'll need the protein next week.

I agree! Last year, Sunita walked out and we all know she was the most boring housemate ever. However, on BBLB, Dermot asked a producer if they regretted picking her and he/she said that Sunita did have qualities and that they are glad they chose her. That is a complete load of rubbish, because it is the producers worst nightmare if a housemate walks out!

After Richard and Judy today, Dermot came on saying that BBLB was coming up after the break. He also said something like, "Find out who is up for eviction, and how would they cope if a new housemate arrived?"

So, I watch BBLB, but there's nothing on it about a new housemate! Maybe Dermot was told to be quiet about it for the moment!
