THE first Big Brother couple to bonk in the house - Michelle Bass and Stuart Wilson - have split up after a huge row.

The couple met in the fifth series a year ago - and got it on under a table.

After the show finished they moved in together in St Albans, Herts. But now hunky Stu, 20 - who Michelle dubbed "Chicken" - has left and gone to see friends and family in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

A pal said: "They had a massive row and he packed his bags. It's definitely over."

Stuart's agent said: "They've gone through a bit of a rough patch and decided to have time apart."

Stuart went on bended knee to propose to her on Valentine's Day. She immediately squealed: "Yes."

Next day the blissfully happy sweethearts went looking for an engagement ring hand in hand. The couple did not set a date for the wedding but they were expected to invite BB hosts Davina McCall and Dermot O'Leary and Celebrity Big Brother's Jeremy Edwards.

Michelle, 24 - who confessed to Davina that she and Stu had sex in the BB house - had a boob job and became a glamour model.

She became the face of TVX The Fantasy Channel.

Before her row with Stuart she said: "I think he's the one. I love absolutely everything about him. He says I look beautiful ten times a day. I couldn't ask for more.

"Who cares if we met on a reality TV show?

"We have a relationship that works - and that's all that matters.

"Good luck to anybody else who finds themselves in the same situation.

"Once the initial interest cools down, you just get on with your life like anyone else."

I'll be quite sad if it's true - I've loved seeing them defy all their critics.

They were in OK mag last week, on holiday in America, celebrating their first anniversary.
They do the BB6 column in Ok, so I suppose we'll find out next Tuesday whether it's true or not.

Not that I'm AT ALL cynical, but it coincides with Maxwell and Saskia getting together.

They have not spilt up at all , it was the people making it up again. someone has been in touch with their agent and their agent has said it's not true and you shouldn't beilive what you always read in papers.

The couple's aide explained that since they started going out last year they've constantly been living in the media spotlight, You have to remember they've had a pretty intense relationship since they met on Big brother, she said michelle has just moved into a new house and that's stressful enough in it self, They thought a little time apart might help things.

living in a big deteched house like i do. i hear lots of creeks and it would be nice to have a dog for company, Not a guard dog, mind a chihuahua wouldn't protect me at all but then i don't need it to protect me , i can protect myself i'm Geordie after all.

While Stuart's away, she needs a little dog?

At the weekend we opened our morning papers to read the devastating news that Michelle Bass and 'Chicken' Stuart Wilson had split.

According to tabloid reports, the Big Brother couple had a blazing row which ended in Stu packing his bags and finishing their year-long relationship.

Aaaahh, and with them on the front of OK magazine last week discussing wedding plans as well.

Only last month Michelle, who is still enjoying her new job working for Adult Channel Fantasy X, told the Chronicle that they were still blissfully happy, 12 months after sealing their love under the Big Brother dining table.

But when Angel Eyes contacted Michelle at her home in St Albans, the Dinnington lass was surprisingly cagey. And at first she even claimed not to know too much about the reports.

"Yeah, I did hear something," she said, sounding a little worn out.

So, is it true?

"I'm not really allowed to comment on that, chick," she said in her inimitable style.

How come?

"Erm, I'm just not able to say anything at the minute. You'll have to speak to Katherine at my management company, chick. I wish I could say more. I'd even put you on to Stu but he can't say anything either."

So Stu's with you?

At 9am?

Michelle's publicist Katherine Lister confirmed the reality TV favourites had indeed been on the rocks.

She said: "Michelle and Stuart have been going through a rough patch.

"Stuart left last week to go and stay with friends and family but he went back to Michelle's in St Albans on Monday. They haven't split up."

Break-up or no break-up, the story succeeded in knocking new kids on the block Maxwell and Saskia out of the headlines.

One-nil to Stuart and Michelle. They're obviously not going to give up their Golden Couple crown without a fight.

Can't say I didn't say so.

CHICKEN Stu Wilson is off the menu for Michelle Bass as the BB5 lovers have split.

Michelle, 24, went looking for comfort at a seduction night in London's Opium club on Tuesday.

And the porn presenter confessed to 3am: "It's been tough. Me and Stu are different people in different places."

A close friend said: "Michelle is devastated. It's over with Stu - it looks like they won't get back together."

Stu, 24, is now in Leeds finishing his degree.

Her pal added: "Michelle's moved BB5's Emma Greenwood into her house in St Albans because it's too big and lonely without Stu."

Downsizing may be next without all those lucrative glossy mag photoshoots...
