There is a good interview with Cameron on BBC Radio Orkney HERE then select Radio Orkney's programme for Wednesday.

I listened to a lot of it, but it got stuck at the bit where he said something like 'Cameron Stout buying toilet rolls'. It just kept repeating that bit - lol! I thought it was a good interview as far as I heard though.

I agree great interview.

That bit about the toilet rolls was about shopping for the rolls and over hearing someone commenting about the him saying something like 'looks it's Cameron Stout and his buying Andrex toilet rolls'.

Playback only glitched once and then only for maybe a second and a half.

Cameron, it was a brill interview, it was funny how the interviewer kept making a point about how did you earn your money as if he couldn't really understand it! ::lol::

OMG....you buy your own TOILET ROLLS?

That's all my illusions of the glamorous celebrity life shattered then. ;)

Whatever next - Apple and Watermelon Tango?

Very good interview as others have said.

Have to say though, the bit where Cameron is speaking about keeping some things private etc because of having a couple of dodgy experiences in the last few years. He said about blaming himself for beginning friendships etc but surely it's not his fault? Unfortunately there are a few nutters out there but in my opinion it is always best to try and see the best in people and if your guard is up too much then you may let good ones get past. Not explaining the point I'm trying to make very well but I don't think it's necessarily somebody's fault if it all goes wrong in a friendship they had because in my opinion it is always best to at least try and see the good in people. Therefore you wouldn't necessarily detect that somebody was a nutter because you wouldn't expect them to be one.

Hard to put what I'm thinking into words :-?

But he buys Andrex - that's the stuff of the rich and famous, surely. ::lol::

I completely agree Jezi, and I do try and approach most things in that way.

That's what I was trying to get at, it seems obvious that you're like that or you'd be better off living in a box. That's why I was saying you shouldn't blame yourself because I think the way you are is a good thing.

Told you I couldn't explain it ::lol::

Eventually got a listen to the chat. John Ferguson's a good lad - do I really sound that broad? I suppose I might when I'm at home right enough. Good music!!!
