I think it'd be hilarious if Eugene won, seeing the looks of disbelief on HMs such as Cryaig and Makosi when they realise the lot of them were so awful this year they got beaten by a guy who came in halfway through and was only friends with Derek & Kinga

Good on Eugene if he does win. Everyone says he's so boring but at least he's not a sleaze-ball.

The mucky Housemates have led the usually genial Eugene to rant to himself this afternoon.

Giving the kitchen a thorough scrub after the idle group left it in a state, the boffin's good-tempered manner briefly vanished.

Noticing that the bunch had left the butter lying out on the worktop all day AND with the film still on the box, Eugene flipped.

"Just put the lid on instead of leaving the film!" muttered the egghead.

He then mimicked his lazy Housemates, putting on a whiny voice and saying, "Oh I can't be bothered to remove the film, it's too much effort! I'm not here to remove the cover off butter, I'm here to look fabulous!"

Then a filthy saucepan sprung to his attention and he was off again. Rinsing it out in the sink he hissed, "Got time to make milk, but never time to clean up after themselves! Disgusting people!"

Whoa there Eugene! Calm down you're scaring us!

My sentiments exactly. I'd be happiest if either Eugene or Anthony won or even Kinga but I'm not that sure any of them deserve to win. I just don't want nasty (I'm the centre of the universe, kneel down at my Jimmy Choo's, pathetic mortal and worship) Makosi or Whiny-Whingey Craig to win
