When 9/11 happened, they told the HMs in BB USA. This is still terrible, but thankfully on a smaller scale. Perhaps they'll decide to tell the HMs if anyone they know is affected.

IMO the housemates should be told, they have a right to know that something this serious has happened - have to put things into perspective, BB is only a game. I reckon BB will give hm's as many details as they can that their friends and families are safe (maybe even video msg's?), through fear of them walking out. I wouldn't be suprised if a few hm's wanted to leave, and rightly so.

I think they should postpone it for the safety of the housemates, audience and crew.

I suggest you check out the news zx50, its not good.

However I think it should go ahead, security is tight at the house, it will just be a bit tighter. End of.

Ah, i get what you mean now. I've been on the bbc news site, and read about the bombing. I completely forgot about the bombings being in London.

I agree and especially that some of the housemates are from London and surrounding areas. If I was in the house I would want to know.

I could be wrong, but i think if big brother feels that there is a definite danger of something happening, then they will postpone the eviction.

I think that they should tell them. Not only from a safety point of view, but they also need a reality check.

C4 should speak to the relatives and ensure that no one in the house is affected in terms of having friends or family injured or killed.

Assuming not, they should carry on as normal and not tell them. Today has been dreadful, of that there is no doubt, but without wanting to sound overly harsh, life goes on and so it must.

If they do postpone the eviction then what reason would they give the HM's? surely they would have to tell them the real reason as lying about something like this would be a very bad idea as when they got out and found out the truth they will not be happy and Endemols name would be mud all over the press.

I don't think it should be postponed, it's not gonna do anything constructive

but I do think that HMs should be told what's happened

If I'd been in the house, I'd very miffed if I found out something like that had happened

it's a pretty major event and should be beyond the usual "no outside contact" rule

I dunno, channel4 might be racking their brains now as how to tell them. Or what to do anyway.

hmm.
-------
In retrospect, I change my mind, and suggest cancel the 'baying mob' eviction, maybe just have an interview at 10pm.
---
As for the housemates....
They will doubtless be told. This is something that will merit breaking the 'no outside info'. That will happen probably later this evening I would guess.

Further, will either a limited/no eviction tomorrow night, they will be notified. No doubt about it.

I don't really know if it should be postponed or not, seeing as i don't live down there.

yeah, I initially thought 'ohh damn it, have it anyway'.

However, tomorrow evening's TV will be consumed with endless coverage of this. Do you think people are gonna want to sit down and watch a crazy baying mob booing whoever leaves the house?

Frankly, there is no way there will be any crowd tomorrow night, and I bet they postpone it until Monday evening, where it will be a 'quiet' eviction.
