INTERVIEW: Polly Hudson
We caught up with Big Brother fan and TV journalist Polly Hudson to ask her about game plans, tasks and who she likes the best...
Who is your favourite Housemate and why?
Science is my favourite. I used to like Makosi and I used to like Kemal but this year for the first time it's all changed. Science, I think is misunderstood. He's brilliant, he's funny, he's said all the best things and I think everyone is approaching him the wrong way. Yesterday, when Orlaith talked to him in a normal tone of voice he didn't raise his voice once. He's a sensitive flower inside but he puts up this tough exterior.
What's been the funniest moment so far?
Science dressed as a dog break-dancing is the greatest Big Brother moment of all time! And I loved it when they were in the cardboard boxes, and the singing task I absolutely adored.
If you could set them a task what would it be?
The tasks have been excellent this year. I loved the dancing task in Big Brother 2. So I would set them something like that. I think that would be really good especially when they're all arguing, it would be nice to make them have to touch each other.
Do you think any of the Housemates have a game plan, and if so whose is the cleverest?
I think this year for the first time they have all got game plans. They were all really honest about going in there to win which is really refreshing. I hate it when they come out and say I didn't go in there to win, it was just for the experience. It's a competition and they should want to win!
I think Saskia had a game plan but for obvious reasons it didn't work and I think Vanessa probably had a game plan to sink into the background and stay really quiet which has got people into the last week before. Anthony is probably playing it the best because since the rows broke out he has been having a pacifying influence.
Anthony is odds on favourite to win, do you think he will mange to win?
Yes I do. I wish he wouldn't in a way. I think he has said some funny things but it's always unintentional and he's just sort of in the background really. Anyone who likes Maxwell doesn't deserve to win! I really want Science to win that would just make my year.
