God, how much more nasty can Derek get. In the pool, he told Eugene whilst coming up for air, that if he had known that she was going to leave, he would have stayed down for longer. I really can't beleive this man, someone who was just comforting her not so long ago. I think Orlaith can see him for what he really is though, a real nasty peice of work. If she wasn't comfortable in the big brother house, then she should have gone.

One of the best things to come out of Kamal's eviction and Orla walking is; Makosi has lost a ally in Derek and vice versa - how will they cope without their malicious bitch sessions I wonder - they'll probably use the DR for a quick fix.... but their 'need' will probably bring them together again I imagine.

Derek's going on about how she has just lied about walking and wanting to go, i think Davina should remind him of what he has been saying in the diary room about wanting to leave. I would certainly love to see the face on him :D

ugh, thats just made me picture dereks eviction interview for the first time, can you imagine how he'll react if 'That woman' (aka Davina) dares to show any clips of him being a buggar or disagree with him about anything? Wouldnt suprise me if he called her a ghastly woman and walked off stage!

Was incredibly shocked when I got told this actually, never believed she'd actually go through with it

Don't see why with only 2 weeks at the most left though.

To be quite honest, neither can i. I think now is the time to just get rid of the manipulator's in the house, and Derek should be the first to go. I mean, what can happen now, unless they spring a surprise twist, i think we should just sit back and watch the housemates having fun. Let them be supplied with alcohol, and then just sit back and watch the sexy antics. But i think this bitching has just totally run it's course now, there's nothing more really to bitch about. Makosi was talking about Kemal, and how he was this and that, just goes to prove that there's nothing left in the house now, as far as talking about people goes. Although saying this, i did hear them last night talking about Derek, but not for very long.

Meanwhile, Orlaith sat at the dining table explaining to Anthony how she had reached her decision.

"I was the next target," she said. "I'm not mentally capable of staying another week because of him (Derek). The fact is I've just had enough of him trying to come between people."

She added that, on her eviction, she would make it her mission to upturn any public support for Derek. "I'm walking out here to slate that man," she said. "If I can work it, he's not going to win. He's an evil, twisted man."

You can say what you like about Orlaith, but she is so wise to the odious, horrible Derek.

He truly is an awful little man.

I'm guessing that I wouldn't dislike Orlaith if I actually knew her. Watching her on tv is torment, I want to shout 'oh come on! how stupid do you think we are!' but between Orlaith and Derek there is no contest. I'd go for Orlaith every time! She might try to portray herself in a certain conceived way and use her sexuality to give her an advantage, but she doesn't try to justify bloody, brutal, slaughter as recreation. For that alone I'll bite my lip and support her over Dastardly Derek...

A doleful Derek visited the Diary Room to talk about missing Kemal and to vent his anger at Orlaith's snub.

"His departure has affected me more than I would have thought," Derek sighed, thinking about the diva departed. "And Orlaith going has left a nasty taste in my mouth," he added.

In Derek's opinion, Orlaith defeated herself. His theory is that her inability to deal with rejection made her continued presence in the House an impossibility, but thinks that her decision to go was just plain bad manners.

"She showed scant regard for the support that was obviously there," Derek said. "She gave up a place in the House that could have been occupied by someone else, or meant Kemal would stay," he fumed.

"My earlier view of her as a force for division not unity, stands with greater force today," Derek said.

Luckily for Orlaith she's well out of Derek's way.

There is something about Derek. It's not just the back stabbing, it's the nastiness and viciousness of the tone in his voice. I'm not really bothered if Derek gets booed or not, because i know he is strong enough to take whatever the crowd has to give him. Plus the fact he deserves it as well. I dunno, i just don't like him at all. Makosi might have been manipulative and back stabbing, but she is nowhere near as nasty as Derek. And if Derek is a member or has anything to do with the conservative party, then this says a lot about the conservative party then. Although, i bet he's not like this with the voters, obviously.

Why are people suprised at how manipulative Derek is - he's a politician what do they expect. I used to think he was OK - but now whenever he apears all that comes into my thoughts is what an arrogant little sh** he is.

I thought politicians were our leaders and law-makerswho tried hard not to lie and to be honourable about matters of the day and to carry out the wishes of the people? ${
