I thought that Orlaith was spot on about both Derek and Eugene and I used to like both of them.

Now....

Does anyone who doubts the way Orlaith felt about Eugene, still not understand why, after tonight's show?

Kinga said tonight that Eugene has no opinions of his own and maybe what you are saying is an example of that .

Eugene did seem pretty snakey on the highlights show, IMO. Hanging round with Derek is doing him no good at all.

Yep, another truly awful interview by Mr O'Dreary. How dare he use his position & say Derek, Eugene or any housemate aren't coming across in a certain way - has he personally asked every viewer??

Wasn't a fan of Orlaith. Her moaning about comical Derek intimidating her(I don't think Derek could intimidate anyone) was a little too much considering she joined Derek's group as soon as she went into the house & bitched about Saskia & Maxwell.

Can't quite see why Eugene is in anyway popular. He tells dull stories, is socially inept to the point of creepiness, is terrified of women & has become nothing more than Derek's 'yes' man.

I missed the interview, but it doesn't surprise Dermot was doing his standard "are you sure" "but to fair ..." rubbish

Craig has previously hinted to Anthony that Eugene had an 'evil side' to him. He mentioned something Eugene said about poisoning Science's cigarettes or hoping he lose his voice so they could torment him. Funnily enough we never saw this on any of the highlights shows (and I missed it on live feeds)

obviously Eugene isn't the devil incarnate, but he's not this lovable geek who's harmless. Davina's defence of him on Science's eviction show, didn't square with what I'd seen the previous week

Me either...I do see him being totally under Dereks thumb...but I havn't seen him being hideous to anyone really
