What would it say about our society if the likes of Derek, pompous git.
Makosi, Liar. Kema, Skanky bitch. Roberto, arse licker. Orlaith, coward. had won BB6 :-?

I agree Madeline, about Derek anyway. I'm still not happy about the fact that he got cheers, yet Makosi got boos, what the hell is that all about. He done just as much as Makosi, and he was nasty with housemates at times as well. Are the public blind to this, or were the crowd asked off camera to cheer Derek??

I finally saw the final tonight...davina totally contradicted herself. She first said....(I'm amazed you don't regret anything you did at all) then she said (you've been an amazing BB h/m)......I don't care what anyone says...Makosi is the true winner of BB6. It took people a while b4 they realised Jade was the true winner of BB3

I realise someone else picked up on the use of the moronic term"realwinner"(generally used by Alex fans crying in their cereal) however if you view making the most money I guess we would all agree with you about Jade-it is just that some of us value things more than money and some housemates turn down large sums of cash to preserve their self respect. ;)

I think girls with negative personality traits always seem to get a harder time than the boys on BB. I enjoyed watching Derek and Makosi - warts and all - a lot more than Anthony but the only time I have voted this series was to vote Maxwell out the week he left.

Out of the final four I would have liked to see Kinga or Eugene win, purely as it would have annoyed the hell out of the other two who both saw themselves as rightful winners (the arrogant muppets).

And that is probably how we got our winner this year. I'm sure a lot of people found Anthony entertaining and a lovely guy but I'm sure a HUGE percentage of those voting were the "Ant iz fit" brigade whose nonsensical comments we have seen up on the screen during E4 coverage and BBLB. Shame really but at the end of the day, who cares? At least it wasn't Maxwell!

It was interesting that The Times did a 'Big Brother' article this Friday... quite a good one actually. And who's image did they choose to symbolise the show? None other than Makosi.

Whether Makosi becomes a 'winner' remains to be seen, I just don't know if she has the talent to be honest. Although I fancy Derek will carve out a nice little earner should he decide to write.

I do take Ray's point though... I always thought Melanie (BB1) was a true star, and out of the House she did have some success initially.

BB6? I can imagine Makosi, Derek, Orlaith and possibly Eugene having the 'presence' to be successful (should they want it). But the rest of them will get just 5 minutes of TV fame, 2 column inches, a bit of ribbon snipping outside the new Tesco and a freebie in some half respectable nightclub.

The simple fact is, an appearance on BB is old hat... the novelty has worn off and its no longer a passport to fame it maybe once was. Sure, if you've got something really special you might get noticed but it had better be stellar.

This would be Mel who wrote "Big Brother ruined my life"three years running in the tabloids and finished rank bottom of the poll that Ray is so proud of.?

I'm afraid in terms of career opportunities for BB6 I an inclined to sympathise as yourself.I feel there are two sides the "white" side of Kate Brian Alison Anna er Ray and others who try to do thngs that are challenging and productive and require some skill and the "dark" side as characterised by Jade and some others I won't name -where it is just magazines and papers and easy money as quickly and as much as possible.Sadly for me the dark side is winning as the establishment prefer a nice ghetto for the BBHM's where seriouseness is marginalised.Compare that odious cats programme on friday where an array of BB losers lined up to have the piss taken out of them by comics who think they are rubbish.

Ray correct me if I'm wrong but do I detect that you are not pleased that Anthony won? ::lol:: ::lol::

Mind you I was like the antichrist when Kate won BB3

Nah, what's done is done now. At the time I was a bit miffed but couldn't care less now. Fair play to him...I would of preferred Makosi but Anthony I suppose is a nice guy

Jaade will never be the true winner of anything, her repugnant treatment of people will means she ends up alone and bitter :D

It IS a popularity contest, and love them or hate them the winners are the winners :D

Makosi will find it hard to remain famous when shes thrown out of the country, no boyf, no job, no fan-base, Jade did get 1.5 million votes, Makosi got nowt, she'll be forgotten like Mel soon :D

Making money selling your soul to the sunday tabliods and the weekly mags does not a winner make, Ray. The winner is the one who gets the mosts votes from the public on the night. As you found out in BB4

Is that what makes a housemate a winner, jaysus, never knew that??

Have to say though, just because you don't win the show, it isn't the be all and end all. A few of us have done alright....i.e Anna, Jade, Nick, Alison, Michelle
