::lol:: Sorry Woodie! One of my friends had the morning after pill about 10 years ago and was really sick. the other had it last year and was fine, the nurse said that they have changed them so much that they are less likely to make you sick these days. Makosi is talking absolute rubbish imo. Maybe you CAN know you are pregnant straight after maybe it's just a feeling but in her case I think it's just another ploy to attract attention. Well it's working I guess but I think the other hm's are getting annoyed by it and it may well backfire on her very soon...

Morning after pill doesn't make you ill at all vagabond.

What's confusing me (and it's not hard!).. I haven't read the whole thread, how can she be so sure she's pregnant two days after?

If she was pregnant before, she might 'know'... that happened to me. The first time I was pregnant, I felt different more than a week before any test was done. The second time, I 'knew' the next day - well, I felt the same feelings as the first time.. that sounds ridiculous, but it's the truth.

But surely Makosi must be only joking - I would have thought that suspecting that you might be having an unplanned baby, which you don't remember conceiving on t.v., would have scared the life out of someone.

Oh - and one other thing, I was very happy to be pregnant, but I would caution anyone who thinks that it's impossible to get pregnant at certain times of the month - it's best to be safe rather than sorry.

It doesn't sound ridiculous at all - that has happened to me as well. But if something really has happened - you should have the morning after pill within 2 or 3 days (I can't remember anymore how fast) and Big Brother should have be given her already those pills. But if all the girls in the house have changed medically their periods there's no need to worry at all. Has there ever been female with periods in the BB House?

Absolutely! they're the ones lying on the settee with a hot-water-bottle against their tummy and shouting 'just SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE!' when someone asks if they want a cup of tea... ;) ::lol::

When Kate in BB3 was on the poor side, she had her period. I think she was the only female on the poor side at the time, and had to get up and go out to the outside loo. At one stage she ended up in tears in the Diary Room. My heart went out to her, and I have the utmost admiration for the way she put up with the situation.

There have been other references in BB to women having their periods.

Makosi might not be pregnant really, it might have been a miss hit, if you like. It takes one to set it all off (wink). If nothing's happening when it should be happening, then oh dear.
