I firmly believe he thought he was going last night...is that not what he said when he took the money....?

We don't know what he has planned for the money.....He may well have a project earmarked for it...who knows.....

Anyhow...til he comes out we'll never know what was going on when he made that decision...but one thing WAS clear.....he was upset by last night.....

It's an easy route to kick a dog when he's down :-?

Tuts!!

I would never kick a dog!! My gorgeous golden retriever, Barney, is curled up on a beanbag at my feet as I type!! ::lol::

I think it's dreadful that poor Eugene is so upset by last night. Just as he was by the secret mission he failed, etc. So for the sake of his own sanity and well being, he should go home tonight.

That'll make him feel heaps better.

Well, Londoner's homophobia has nothing to do with this subject, so yes I will, thanks for permitting that alan.

Thanks for the sarcastic comments. You are very fond of your 'loves' and 'dears'. You patronise everyone on these boards with such put-downs, but that's just your way. It's indicative of your own insecurity. Reminds me of your pal, Carlypops.

It's not stupidity or holiness to say you would decline the money, it's a moral judgement.

Many of you don't see it that way. Some of us do. That doesn't make us any more moral or stupid than the rest of you. Just different. Different values. Different motives.

Anyway, please go back a few pages Bunny and answer my earlier post about Nadia and homophobia. I'd like your take on that, you suggested that Nadia's victory was one-in-the-eye for homophobes.

I'll post what I like when I like to whom I like, as long as it's within the rules of this board. If you don't like my posts, don't read 'em - simple.

Oh get down off the cross, someone needs the wood. You're being sanctimonious. No really, you are.

Nadia and homophobia

Firstly I did not accuse YOU of being a homophobe. Take a nice deep breath, remove your halo of self-righteousness and read what I wrote again.

Secondly, homophobes do not make the fine distinctions between homosexual, transvestite and transsexual - as far as they're concerned, they're all f*cking queers who need a kicking. Which is why Nadia's victory was a big almighty f*ck you to them all.

OK? Is that enough for you alan, or would you like the 10,000 word essay?

I'm in the odd position of liking the posts by both Alan and Bunny.

I don't find Bunny rude or patronising. I never understood why people did.

And I hate when things get down to personal slanging matches on the boards, just because people see different sides of an argument.

I'll let the sarky comments go, as they are more damning of you than I could or want to be. (It's past midnight and that means it's BB happy hour, drinks are on Blags, rich bar steward).

To be fair to you, I didn't think you were accusing me, but I wasn't sure, and I just wanted to make it clear I am not homomphobic, especially since I fear my smutty cartoons might suggest it.

I'll say one thing, I don't think homophobic people watch BB, why would they subject themselves to seeing people they hate?

But I know I am wrong. Many racists and homophobes probably do watch. That guy from Blackpool who phones BBBM strikes me as homophobic, his hatred for Craig seemed very irrational.

(Yes, I know that there's a lot not to like about Craig, but the caller didn't make valid points.)

I don't understand why MORALITY has anything to do with the decision of TAKING or NOT TAKING the money (in Eugene's case). I'm totally agree with Kinga and Makosi that there was NO WRONG or RIGHT about the decision. It's about what is the best for you.

When Eugene took the money, people said that he is greedy and worshipping money.

If Eugene hadn't taken the £50K, we still could say that he is worshipping money - because it implies that £50K is not enough for him.

People argue that Eugene is selfish and making a decision that's unfair to other contestants. Why is it unfair? I think Eugene's logic is fairer. If he takes the money - there will be TWO WINNERS (Eugene genuinely believed that he would be booted out if he took the money). Having TWO WINNERS is FAIRER than having ONE WINNER, isn't it?

Ok....Am gonna put on my controversial hat here.....

Because Eugene is deemed to being a 'bit simple' he's supposed to do the decent thing is he????

Seriously...would it have been more or less controversial had one of the other HMS accepted it????
IMO...less...cos peeps had sussed out Eugene would 'do the right thing' morality wise....he was expected to behave in a superior manner to his more mentally aware Hms.....

And PLEASE before you respond..please think long and hard about your response......this is becoming less of a forum of ideas and more a slangining off of FMs fave HMs
