I think she is really interested in the show - but she wears her heart on her sleeve.. always a good thing in a person, IMO, but it causes difficulties when she's interviewing someone whom she dislikes..

I'd still prefer it this way - wouldn't like it if it was all 'plastic fantastic'

People are only moaning about Davina, because she didn't like Maxwell, well so didn't half the county I'm afraid, so get over it. Jesus remember it's a game show, no doubt Maxwell and Saskia will make a pot full of money out of it, then go back to doing everyday things like the rest of us. Then no doubt poping up on a nostagia show know and again, with Criag being the front runner of it, telling us all how it ruined his life ${

In the same way we all have differing opinions about Housemates, i think we can all have different opinions on presenters :D

It's going to be hard for me to watch anymore - she really is tainted goods.

I usually defend Davina... I like her, but that was dire tonight.
It wasn't an interview - it was a character assassination.

She made it clear she despised Maxwell - she didn't give him a chance to say anything positive about his experience.
Max made a bit of a knob of himself when he left, but he at least deserved a better end to his BB experience that THAT.

Shocking news for those of you bleating about poor ickle Maxwell ... Davina doesn't actually write the scripts, she is the PRESENTER and will ask the questions she is told to ask.

I very much doubt that the producers told her to avoid any issue and she just added the questions of her own accord - from previous interviews, we all know she doesn't have the depth.

I don't see how the Maxwell interview could have gone any other way - it wasn't a character assassination so much as his true character coming across.

Maxwell ... the type of person who would pick an interviewer because "she's fit" rather than because "she's a good interviewer".

I thought Maxwell came across as honest and straightforward, and quite entertaining - just his usual self - in the face of what appeared to be an interview about his 'bad' side. He didn't become worn down and remained cheery throughout.

Yes, I'm disappointed Maxwell's out; yes, I'm sorry the clips and interview didn't do justice to Maxwell's good side; yes, it'll be less entertaining to watch now that he's out - but at least it'll be interesting to see how the dynamics change this week.

(ps Can somebody get a message in there telling Kemal to make less fuss please?)

Eva, Davina is well involved with production meetings, though I was on the understanding that she formulates the evictions questions herself.
What is beyond doubt though was her obvious dislike of Maxwell and the venom in the was she conducted the interview. Even seasoned Maxwell haters were a bit taken aback by her. Her impartial profesionalism went out the window.

In my eyes she has gone from heroine to tainted goods. She has to go.

LOL you lot remind me of the reason I stopped going to live football matches.
I was always stuck near the one going on and on about how this player was crap and that one was crap and had no business playing football. Nine times out of ten it was THE 'fat b@st@rd who ate all the pies' and drank all the beer who wouldn't know what the hell to do with a football if it was even physically possible.

I thought she had every right asking Maxwell about the scab incident its the question every one who has heard about it wants to ask. if he can be that much of a bully and thug in the house then he can take it surely.

why do people want to get rid of Davina just because she asked honest questions? if it were to someone they didnt like would they still be saying get rid of her? I dont think so.

Indeed, I watched it back earlier and thought it was good interview. Just because she was asking mildly tough questions for a change doesn't mean she hates him, she was asking things that the majority of the viewers (about 57% I'd say) wanted to ask. See the Sam interview for a case of Davina interviewing someone she clearly doesn't like instead.

I have to admit I was watching the interview with my friend and I turned to her and said " She really doesn't like Maxwell" ..and that was after about 1 minute!

It's not about the questions asked, it's about how she made it obvious she hated him...she wasn't interested in the answers, she just wanted to ask the questions...i've never seen her be so dismissive and uninterested in anything he had to say.
Her questions about things should have just cut out the questions...instead of 'Did you put scabs in Science's food' she should have just gone 'You put scabs in Science's food, your a dirty prick, get off my stage'
