If Ant had taken the money he may well have shared it with the others too - but we'll never know as it didn't happen. We do know Eugene took the money and for all his crying and beating himself up about it after the fact, he's still in with a chance of winning and so far, he hasn't said he's going to share the 50K with the others.

Which makes Eugene a greedy self-righteous hypocrite.IMO

That bit in the diary room at the end?
I thought I heard him yesterday thursday on the live say he wouldn't have taken the money-(I maybe misheard as at the time I didn't know it was to be an issue) so it is possibly a bit confused for the poor lad.Also the diary room is the one area where editing can occur.
So for me it is a little confused.I'm unsure whether it will get resolved in the next day or so.
I myself feel I wouldn't take the money i'm surprised at so many saying they would for certain as though there was no alternative -I'm not neccessarily voting against Eugene because he took the money-but weeks and weeks of watching the show that sneak it for me for Anthony-but I'm not passionate for him unlike Brian Kate Ray and Nadia.

Ha ]s anyone mentioned that ant alos said he didnt care if the prize was a biro hed still do it he has loved tohe opportunity of being there,in bb house so give the lad some credit. and lets not be too over sentimental about eugene he isnt all sweetnest and light IMO

I believe Anthony - I was the same. I said that if Davina had said, "Oops, there's been a mistake, there's no prize" I would have been ok about it.

That was THEN of course LOL!

Anthony's true colours shown on the highlights last night, when BB told him Eugene didn't know about the £200,000, Anthony said he would of taken the £50,000 then same as Eugene did.....

so the initial greed of the £200,000 lighting up his eyes even appealed to Anthony when he might of been faced with just £50,000 but still he'd of taken it....

Can't understand why big brother never told him about the £200,000 for, surely it would make sense to have told him about the increased prize money, and then he would have agonised over the decision. As it was, it's just like saying, here, do you want this or not. There was no gamble involved really, it was just a case of take it or not. I don't know what was going through the minds of the producers when they thought this up
