Hopefully they will put this week's column on the website. :D

Sorry guys, there is no way I could have done it because I wasn't even near the area that it's given to this weekend!

Having visited every EE stockist in the North East (or gone into one shop... same thing isn't it ;) ) I've managed to get myself an EE from Saturday and even better - it was FREE!

Anyway, Saturday's column had a bit about being disappointed not to be involved in the Aberdeen International Youth Festival but getting to see one of the many many concerts which was by the Tamana Pioneers Caribbean Steel Band it he says it was wonderful. A bit about the fuss there's been about the birthplace of Scotty from Star Trek which moves onto Daisy Dukes from Dukes of Hazard being his ideal woman and wondering if Jessica Simpson will be good in the roll. Thinking George Galloway has gone far too far by 'calling insurgents 'martyrs''. The last bit is about the seagulls in Aberdeen that make a right racket!

Anyway, sorry that was brief but I have to get to the opticians shortly.

Thanks Jezi. I actually read my Mum's edition on Saturday and forgot completely about taking it home to write up the column.

 How rude does it get? ;)

The new glasses are great (when I remember to put them on for reading :-? ), never actually realised how blurred text was before!

Maybe the computer man/lady is on holiday because yet again it's still not up.

Don't worry, Jezi - he might be worried that you'd see things differently and behave differently when you're wearing glasses than you do when you don't wear them - you'll may write things differently as you used to. ::lol::
(Just because his dad thought that Vanessa from BB6 behaved differently when she was wearing her glasses than when she wasn't)

Sorry sorry sorry! Just realised I haven't done this yet this week, I left the paper at work (hopefully along with my glasses, can't find them anywhere  ) and because work was so busy I forgot to even read it in my break. Sorry again, I'm letting it slip

Try here. It's only really short part of the column. We'll wait that you'll find your glasses (they seem to changed your behaviour already, don't they? ;) ) and the full article! :D

Jezi - there's no need to apologise! You have kept the whole thing going all along.

And thanks for this week's column, Mari A! It's nice to get part of it, at least..

Mari I've always been a bit scatter brained but this is really bad - I lost them in less than a week

Thanks for posting up that wee bit of the column

It happens to the people with glasses, even people with sun-glasses (my son and my hb are masters to lost their sun-glasses ::lol:: ), don't worry Jezi!

We can't get the EE over here, so I'd like to read your summary soon!

Talk about eventually but as well as the bit Mari posted this week there was a bit about Cameron being disappointed Eugene never won and how Eugene called him and said about job offers flooding in. Hoping to go to Free at the Dee (for those of you that don't know it's this big concert that a radio station here called Northsound put on. It was originally for their 21st birthday in 2002 if I remember correctly and then it was on again in 2003. It's coming back this year. In 2003 I got backstage but it's better out the front FYI! It's in a park, Duthie it was before and it's free - many laughs were had in my family on the way to the first one when I asked how much it cost to get in  ) and then speaking about who the line up of a favourite concert would be (Annie Lennox, Mark Cohn, Hue and Cry and a big band like the USA Air Force Band if you're interested - to be honest I've only heard of Annie Lennox  ). The other bit is going to the Peterhead Harbour thing and having lunch (which involved Cullen SkInk soup - not Skunk as I used to think!) with Alex Salmonmd (he had a conversation with my brother around election time, apparently he was very nice!) and going to a car show at Fetterangus.

Sorry for all my wee additions

Column this week includes a section about a massive six by six foot picture Cameron has in his living room - of a cow!! Rather random but there is a picture in the paper of it and it looks like a really nice painting. His friends joking with him about this 'The 40-year-old Virgin film coming out. (Is it me or does that film look dire in the advert?) Being at home for a few days and having to sort out all his bills, e-mails etc and previously thinking it was toffs who had cleaners etc and they should do their work themselves but now he has a guy to cut his grass. Then getting an image as he came round to his home of it being burned to the ground and then got inside and discovered he'd left the iron on all weekend. (has there ever been a more appropriate time to call you a muppet? ;) ) Oh and the last bit is about BB housemates already selling their suitcases on e-bay and how he still has his stuff. Also about Lesley's singing in the recording studio and the record producer guys telling her that her voice was good and just the song was wrong but how it's not true. ::lol::

Oh by the way the EE are juggling the columns about so Cameron's shall now be on a Monday. Next week I'm going to be very busy so shall just be able to get the column up when I get a chance - can't tell yet how much I'll be at home!
