Sorry, but why people in BB houses around the world need to be told about what happened in the USA on 11/9???

So once again the world is lashing out against terrorists and will be back slapping Tony Blair, John Howard and GW Bush in their war against terrorism.

Their popularity will once again rise.

I've got no problem , with the eviction show, going ahead tonight.

But to having a screaming, booing, cheering crowd ,would, i think, be disrespectful, distasteful and not appropriate.:-?

Why is it not appropriate? A bit of pantomime booing of a HM? Come on Adrian - it's a game show, entertainment, light-hearted crap. I WANT it to be exactly the same as it always is.

As awful as yesterdays callous attack on innocent people was, now is the time for Tony Blair and the other heads of state to stay focused on the G8 talks - their war against terrorism is, as they tell us, an on going thing since 9/11 anyway.

I agree, we should have only good old British clapping tonight only.

There is too much hate in this world; I only want to see something positive today, because its people that hate that have caused the horrors of Thursday.

Spikylass, I know where you're coming from, but life must indeed go on.

Yesterday was tragic, of that there's no doubt, but tragedies happen every day. I'm not one of these Geldof types, but there were probably many more poverty releated deaths in Africa yesterday than those who died in London. Now that's not to trivialise it but there is something we could point to every day. There was a young woman and her three kids killed in a housefire down my way couple of weeks ago. I'm sure other posters could also point to other horrific things as well.

The point is that we cannot allow these people to prevent us getting on with life. We have to keep on enjoying programmes like BB. We have to keep smiling. I don't mean we just ignore things but life is for living - it is the only chance we get at it (apologies to any hindus I may have offended there).

In my book, lets have sombre and private reflection on yesterday, then show the world that its business as usual and we will not be put down by those intent on destroying our way of life.

I hear what you're saying, spikylass, but I can think of no better way to say a big almighty F**K YOU to terrorists than to carry on living our lives as normal, enjoying our freedoms; freedoms which include the freedom to take seriously a silly daft game show.

The West has it's faults...but Bin Laden & those vile individuals who subscibe to his vile doctrine have more.

Bin Laden & his crones want to enslave every muslim, intimidate every 'infidel', murder every 'apostate' & deny all recognisable human rights to women.

He & his acolytes are vile scum.
