I know where you're coming from, guys and you're right.I just don't feel able to watch BB atm :-?
Its not a question of giving in to terrorism,I just feel uncomfortable, knowing people who were so close to yesterdays incidents, discussing the actions of a group of self obsessed wannabes :-?
Sorry to be such a party pooper guys. It's just how I feel.Very sad and deflated :-?

Yes, but how can anybody get excited about Big Brother at a time like this??
Surely a political animal like Derek would want to to know??

I agree with the notion that the terrorists should never win; I just think an eviction show would be in poor taste.

But hey, BB is Channel 4 & Endemol's cash cow.

I've got no problem , with the eviction show, going ahead tonight.

But to having a screaming, booing, cheering crowd ,would, i think, be disrespectful, distasteful and not appropriate.:-?

One half of me agree's with this, but then the other half of me thinks of this as a way of not letting the terrorists win. I wonder when there's going to be a 1 min or whatever silence for the people that died.

I don't have a great deal of respect for the cash-hungry executives of Endermol or Channel 4, and i was relieved to see that BBLB was toned-down, last night, and Dermot made a solemn statement.

I would be mightily agrieved, if the eviction show , was aired with a baying, screaming, cheering mob, outside the house.
By all means, hold the eviction - but keep the crowds away. :-?

that's what I want

I'm all in favour of the show going ahead, but I think it'll be a bit wrong to have a 'baying crowd'

The point is that we cannot allow these people to prevent us getting on with life. We have to keep on enjoying programmes like BB. We have to keep smiling. I don't mean we just ignore things but life is for living - it is the only chance we get at it (apologies to any hindus I may have offended there)

I very much doubt Hindu's would have a prob with that, we all believe our own things and there's nothing wrong with that. I know where you're coming from. You're right. The only thing that would make me want to cancel the eviction would be if a relative or someone directly involved said so. I don't think it's my place to decide since I'm not directly involved.

I think that they should tell the hm's I don't tell everyone everything about my life! Nobody does, it's impossible to know how the hm's would feel or who they know that may be involved. I feel strongly that they should be told. Also Spiky is NOT a party-pooper so stop that right now young lady! Don't make me come over there!

Apologise for being cynic. But, I don't think that anyone in his/her sane mind would do that (even if his/her family are directly affected). Tragedy does happen, and it's part of our lives. But it shouldn't stop the normal routines from taking place - especially if the tragedy is resulted from terrorism act trying to intimidate the society. Cancelling BB eviction has nothing to do with showing a respect and grief to those involved. If it's anything; by doing so.. we are only doing favour for the terrorists.

I heard someone (who got quite badly injured) firmly said on tv interview: "There's no way I'll stop living my normal life. That is what these evil people intend to do and I won't allow them to win!"

I'm not sure I see the significance between having the programme as normal, and having the programms without the crowd.

What's your take on whether the housemates should have been informed, Cameron? You've been in the house, so it would be good to hear your opinion.

There have been thorough checks made with the families, apparently, and I'm sure if it was deemed necessary to tell any of the housemates it would have been done.

You are allowed 3 or 5 'things' that you would like to be told about when you're in the house - or at least in BB4 that was the case - and in other circumstances such as yesterday's I suppose it's at the discretion of Big Brother.

I don't think it would have been any benefit to tell the housemates.

I personally feel that things have to go on.

Yes it was terrible what happened yesterday, but we have to carry on living. These people want us to be unhappy and cause chaos - why should we let them?
