I remember getting into a friendly argument with a rugby player in a pub about Paul Weller.

I love The Jam and I was telling how Weller's Jam stuff was infinitely better than his Style Council and solo stuff. But the rugby player said the solo stuff was better and I said but how can blah blah be better than blah blah, etc.

Turned out the guy had never heard any Jam songs so the whole argument was pointless. So we agreed that he was a cool bloke. Otherwise I woulda ripped the big 25-stone pug's head off!!! Yaaar! ;)

It's like arguing with people who insist New Order are better than Joy Division, that drives me CRAZY!!!!
