Main bit on Big Brother is HERE.

In other news enjoying being back in France as he used to go there often with work but hasn't been in 6 years (his first trip being to Paris 25 years ago!!!). Being a classic car fan and often arguing for the running of them finding out that according to the International Classic Car Federation the economy is boosted 17 billion euros each year because of them and that apparently 60,000 people make their living through class car stuff. Wishing that this year they would concentrate on good tasks for the housemates to do but he thinks it could end up with people coming and going all the time again. Usually thinks more of the way David Beckham acts than his wife but she went up in his estimation when she apparently turned down a £10m American documentary to watch her husband play football.

Forgot about this! What a neep.

They haven't put the bit about BB on the website but it's pretty much just on about preferring good tasks/getting to know a few housemates rather than a stream of new ones like the last series.

Getting back from the National Trust cruise yesterday and now being in Aberdeen as he's presenting a show on BBC Radio (Scotland I take it!) about Scotland's 100 favourite traditional songs and tunes live for the next five Sundays. Dunno what time it's at but will have a look. Thinking it's great about Victoria Hart the newly discovered jazz singer from London getting a good record deal. The new Pirates film making more than $500 million at the cinema over the last 3 weeks and saying he wouldn't mind being "keelhauled" by Keira Knightly if someone had to do it...! The University of London coming up with sums of money for different kinds of happiness such as a £54,000 pay rise being the equivelant of getting married and £82,500 for living with a loved one!

Funny about the France/cars thing - on the boat back from Cherbourg on Sunday all these flash cars were queuing up to go on - about three Porsches, a gorgeous Aston Martin, a yellow Lamborghini etc - thought it was unusual, then got back and realised it had been the 24-hr Le Mans race thing.

You would have loved it Cameron ()^ Didn't realise you were going to France. Which part? I could have met you for a croissant ::lol::

Right they haven't put the main bit on the website again so will have to summarise it, as always it's about Big Brother. Speaks about having older people in the house and how he feels Carole and Jonathan's personalities bring something different to the house yet it was intriguing to see them as 2 of the 3 up last week. Carole seems to be able to see an outsider's point of view and Jonathan is playing a different game as he's so rich already it's not for the money. He feels the "oddest" thing this year is that anyone under 20 wasn't even in their teenage years when it started and that reality television will have been something people of this age will have grown up being aware of in the papers etc.

One of the first 500 copies printed of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone getting sold at auction for nearly £8,500 despite just having a £10.99 cover price.

A recent story about 2 brothers in the Evening Express hitting home about how important speed limits are and he thinks the advert on TV with the wee girl getting hit at different speeds "illustrates the point very graphically".

Paris Hilton not getting into the Forbes top 100 celebrities of the year which is a list made up by putting celebrities in order of how much "power" (and money) regardless of this being good or bad. Oprah Winfrey is at the top of this list this year.

Then a wee bit about the pants weather for this time of year and how at least trees are finally in leaf although he misses seeing poppies in his garden.

Thanks Jez i - great job as always.

I do think it's pretty scary that the 18/19 year olds in the house have really barely known life without Big Brother.

The main bit about Big Brother is on the website, wahoo!!!! CLICK HERE

In other news...

The Spice Girls getting back together and how he still has a thing for Emma Bunton lol! Thinks it's a shame he'll be busy in December while the tour is on.

Being fascinated by facts and figures and being glad he got the chance to look at aspects of the Commonwealth Institute. Finding it very interesting that it has 50 sovereign states between every continent and ocean and that the inhabitants (1.7 billion) make up a third of the world's population. The Queen being the recognised head of it and guessing that she is probably on a lot of their stamps leading to wondering if these other countries are facing no mail on Saturdays due to cutbacks like in Orkney.

Feeling disappointed that Parky's forthcoming series will be the last in a while at least as he's taking a break to do other things.

Loving this time of year and the way it happens such as when the fields are cut and even when silage is cut too(!)...!

The main bit is about how Big Brother is often likened to living in a fishbowl and how things that in everyday life would just pass are very meaningful in there. Also how "innocent actions" can be seen as suspicious and how there are "magnified reactions" and the like. He was looking forward to seeing the reactions to "Pauline" and watching how behaviour changed.

Being almost excited about the fact it's new tattie time as he gets about birthdays!

Mentions Jade managing to ger 14 points on her licence, more than a £1,500 fine and a ban in one go after getting charged for driving on a motorway previous to her driving test and driving without insurance.

Being disappointed to have missed the party at HMT last Friday as part of the centenary celebrations as he wanted to be in two places at once - he went to the opening of the Pier Arts Centre in Stromness which has just undergone 4.5 million pounds worth of refurbishment.

Getting sent a survey about mobile phones being used on planes and saying he wouldn't be happy about it then being glad to see 68% of the people who responded agreed.

The Big Brother bit is all about the fake eviction and how he's never wanted a housemate out this much in a long time. Speaks about her lying about the audience reaction and how he feels someone like Liam or Gerry would at least have been honest about the experience. He hopes she's out for good next week.

Having to get a charter flight from the Orkney Flying Club on his way back from Aberdeen last weekend as he was in a rush. He said "at least it's better than a wing walk"!

Being a bit more environmentally aware after the Live Earth concerts in swapping light bulbs to more environmentally efficient ones and switching stuff off at the wall.

Saying he's never really watched Doctor Who since the seventies, despite meeting David Tennant's parents, but with Kylie Minogue being in the Christmas special that may change apparently...!!

Agreeing with Michael Grade in feeling sorry for the BBC over the misreporting regards the Queen after getting the edited clips from an independent company leaving them having to apologise etc.

Um apologies for the delay this week, there was a slight problem haha!

Anyhow, the main bit is on the website :D CLICK HERE

In other news he was delighted that chocolate has been found to be good for you in the right quantity as apparently hot cocoa has antioxidants that protect your brain from some disorders four or five times better than tea.

Saying more about the fake BBC competitions and how the accusations are "eating away" at the reputation of it, he feels disappointed. He says how they have to stay "decent and fair".

Loving helping to serve food from his mate Barry's "mobile food emporium" during the gala week where he lives.

Mentions Gisele Bundchen making £16.5 million in the last year modelling and how he'd consider shaving his legs for that amount....!

Big Brother bit on the website again - click HERE for a bit about Charley leaving and the mixed emotions with the contact with the outside world this week.

Filming for a new show called 'Identity' for the BBC where the contestant has to guess which jobs the 12 strangers do. He was one of the two "known" faces.

Kate Middleton topping a poll as the person people would most like to go to their party but he'd rather have Annie Lennox, Michael Parkinson, the Queen, Robbie Williams and Moreen Simpson ("to keep them all in order!).

This week's "thrilling" car news being that BMW are launching a modern Mini Clubman. He speaks about his family's old Clubman Estate and how he cried when it was sold.

Good news about a tablet being launched for men over 50 to help keep down cholesterol, control blood pressure and protect against strokes. There has been speak of it costing the NHS £6 billion but that is better than the current heart attack and stroke treatment costs of about £14 billion.

I'm gonna get a mod warning for spamming again soon ;)

Main bit about BB is once again on the website yippee! So yes, click HERE for that.

Swapping his "hot-hatch" for a new car which is good for saving the environment. The parts are easier to recycle, it goes quickly, has a convertible roof (!!!!!) and is great when buying petrol.

7,000 fashion fans thinking Madonna and her husband are the best dressed celebrity couple. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came 2nd with the Beckhams coming third.

Feeling like he'd like to go and see one of Prince's concerts with his greatest hits at the Millennium Dome as this is the last time he intends to play those hits live.

Unlike most cars from the past the DeLorean DMC-12 (mostly remembered from Marty McFly driving it in 'Back to the Future') are starting to get produced again in the USA.

Main bit on Big Brother - thisisaberdeen

40% of the UK having complaints about noisy neighbours and a lady getting an ASBO for playing a Dolly Parton track all the time!

Big Ben getting stopped until next month while maintenance work gets carried out and wondering if the busy folk in London will notice the missing noise.

Cowboy boots getting banned by police in America after an officer's foot slipped off the brake and made him crash into a shop window while wearing them...! He wonders if this ban may follow here as all the "good" trends from America seem to.

Being very happy to hear that a lottery grant is being given to help fund surveys and development plans for the Tivoli theatre in Aberdeen and hoping that it gets restored so it can be good for the city.

Can't speak for Steph (although I very much doubt it) but I might have, for the craic. And for the limited time LOL.

Dog dirt can be dangerous and cause blindness - not the best plan Pete.
