Now it has come to my attention that there has been a lot of debating about racism on here lately. In fact, I believe it is something which is very widespread across all forums at the moment and there is even an article in the
Daily Star about it today.
Quote:
Big Brother faces being pulled off the air after the show became embroiled in a sensational race row.
Viewers flooded the show and watchdogs with complaints after babe Saskia Howard-Clarke launched a stinging attack on Zimbabwe-born Makosi Musambasi.
Telly rule-makers Ofcom warned they could carpet Channel 4 show bosses if the slurs are found to be racist - and police could even be called in....................
Now, I don't want to stop you actually debating racism, but I would just like to remind everyone that you do have to be very careful when discussing racism, as it is a very sensitive subject and calling someone racist could be held as slander and have legal implications.
I would also just like to remind you of the Terms and Conditions which you agree to when you sign up, which state "You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned"
You must treat other members with respect. If anybody makes a post, which in the eyes of the admin or moderators, is deemed to be slanderous or causes offence to another member, then that person will be banned. I don't care what colour skin you have or what country you are from or what your accent is like etc. but I do care about how members treat each other on here, so
anybody making racist comments which could cause offence will be banned.
Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
