Kate's got a very selective memory then
BB2 - Stuart got booed and Narinder I think
BB3 - started the whole "let's just boo" phemom (Lynne, Lee, Adele and Tim got bad)
BB4 - Sissy, Tania, Lisa and Federico weren't exactly cheered out
shame she didn't like Science, but I can understand her reasons
She wasn't saying never boo or that it hadn't happenned in the past but that it seems to have got routine no matter what the Hm's have done. The 2/3 ones were maybe justified-Alison ,Spencer ,Sophie and PJ got cheered. But there was variability.
sorry Vilt I wasn't saying that Kate said "don't boo", I was merely querying her saying that it was "better" in the old days
justified or not BB3 started the whole pantomime of booing, which has reached it's current over-the-top levels. BB3 variety had more to do with the fact (well my opinion really) that the HMs were generally a nicer lot than this year's bunch.
IMO in relation to what they'd done during their eviction week, Mary, Roberto and Sam were hard done by. I liked Saskia the most out of all the girls, but even I could see why she was booed that week. Same with Maxwell, Lesley, Vanessa and Science's mixed receptions.
The crowds are merely reflecting what they feel in justified, compared to how they've perceived the evicted HM behaviour that week.
Personally I don't like booing, because I think it's unfair on the HM. Regardless of how much I dislike a person, it was a bit uncomfortable seeing Vanessa almost crying and Sam having water (or whatever) chucked in her face
