Cameron, I don't think that we can ever differentiate preference and perjudice. Liguistically and semantically, yes.. it's possible. But when it comes to reality: how do we measure that? Different people see things differently, don't they?
I was slagged here for supposedly showing too much 'hatred' towards certain housemates. Thus, I was deemed as very over the top!

These posters (who slag me) would claim that we can only 'dislike' people, but not to 'hate'. That makes me laugh. The same question pops into my mind. How do we define hatred and dislikeness? Hmmm
There's no place for an idealist in this world. This world (we're currently living) is a place for a realist! I think it's perfectly ok to like, to prejudice, to have preference, to dislike, to love, to hate, etc: as long as we keep it within the context (cyber discussion). My 5 cents.
