I guess its 2 weeks now since the pool night incident with Anthony.



On the edge of 'nuts'?


I am curious as to everyone's take on Makosi and the baby issue right now. With dullard Vanessa (yes, missy, I THINK you are DULL) now telling little bits to the media, things are getting to the stage where we're gonna start to find out one way or the other.

After a 7 weeks in the house, I've come to have very little respect for the woman. Not because she has appeared to have unprotected sex with someone on national TV with some guy whom she knows virtually nothing about....

but because she is still lying ! The recent incident where she utterly lied to Anthony, about 'not telling Kemal to go take toilet rolls from Anthony/Craig's drawers' is classic of the woman. A person consumed with deceit, lies, and utter ruthless bitchiness to attain the goals she seeks...is more dangerous than most of the dark things that frequent the gutters our world.

I don't think they actually did the deed so to speak..
its just another attention seeking ploy

If it is a ploy, then its a pretty horrible one. To think she has been playing that lie with a few of her housemates..in order to manipulate them.

If its true...then wtf ? A Big Brother baby?
Makosi and Anthony? After all the lies, the deceit, the arguments....are we now to see missy have a child shortly after Xmas 2005?

The implications for the show are important to consider too.

I've thought from the second week that Makosi is half tapped, there's something seriously weird about her. I really think she would actually like to be pregnant for Ant.

Given the bunch of dozy hms this year, a man of Derek's age and experience should have been well able to play and win BB without resorting to the amount of bitching and lying he's done....talk about overkill.

I liked Derek alot but watching bb lately he is making me sick, especially with his lieing and bitchyness! What a traitor he is so untrue to himself!!

Personality disorder. That's my diagnosis. I've met loads of Makosis in my professional capacity. She's simply a bit more functional.

The baby lie is heinous, but I really do think Makosi has no conception of what other people might be feeling because she has no empathy. I think she is emotionally illiterate. Telling the lie about being pregnant is the same to her as telling the lie about the toilet rolls.

Makosi has to be evicted soon, for her own sanity and also because I just cannot abide watching her any more.

@ buffy. Reason I think Derek is worse than Makosi.

As much as I can't stand someone like, twisted sister Makosi - I've said from week 2 she's crazy. I find Derek absoulutely repulsive.
Derek and Makosi are similar characters in that they are both self absorbed, vindictive, malicious liars and manipulators. However, Makosi can recognize and is disgusted by these traits in Derek - whereas, it's exactaly these traits that Derek seems to like and admire in Makosi.

I've come to believe from watching him in the past few weeks, beneath Derek's veener of respectability, his jovial chats in the DR, his seemingly air of nonchalance, Derek is a ruthless and thoroughly unpleasant snob.IMO

Makosi is a stirrer and likes to think she's in control, despite definition posted by Bunny on another thread I don't think she's got a personality disorder. I just think she's so hypocritical it's beyond a joke.

Derek on the other hand is blatent liar, with delusional sense of his own importance ("I must invite you round for one of my dinner party" - like they're the social event of the year). He blatently lied about calling Anthony gay and attacking his character (bland). Then when he sees Science has inherited the mantle of this week's/day's scapegoat, he pretends to be friends with Anthony and makes out that he's always liked him.

Science is own worst enemy, but he stands up for himself (however over the top). Derek is obsessed with trying to mold Science in his image and when that fails he resorts to making disparaging comments about Science initially based on his colour. This morning he was going on about how Science had turned him into a racist and seemed to wanting Kemal and Craig to join in.

Derek is a snob who looks down on the other HMs and thinks he's so much better than the rest of them. He'll shift his alleigiances to various HMs if he thinks they're hating the same HM at the same time.

As much I as I loathe Makosi, I really want Derek out

another reason why I dislike Derek - what was all that rubbish about liking Maxwell and Saskia

he blatently told Makosi that Maxwell's comments about her hair were racist (or at least he inferred that). He couldn't contain his glee at the booing Saskia got, going on about how Saskia was obsessed by reactions departing HMs got

he is a hypocrite!

....and another reason I dislike Derek intensely, Last night he was more intent on getting people ot hate Orla than bother about Makosi.IMO

To gain support in this from Craig and Ant, he told them Orla hated Saskia from the second day she arrived... without even knowing Saskia - I know Derek wasn't to know Makosi had spent most of her time in the secret garden telling lies about Saskia, but it was Derek's hypocrisy in the way he said it, like, how stupid and nasty of Orla - knowing full well HE along with Makosi had encouraged the hatred towards Saskia.

Saskia was right about Makosi when she said she was a fake and how dare Makosi, Derek and Kemal question Orlaith about her backstabbing and keep a straight face at the same time......

Saskia might have been right about that, but she then just turned to plain nasty insults when she knew that Makosi wasn't biting. Somebody should have blown that bitch (saskia) sky flaming high.

Yes, she comes across that way at times.
However, it is possible she is simply a damn fine game player, able to control her emotions at will. We've all seen how she can cry on demand, and switch from histerical screaming to being all sensual with Anthony.

As for 'empathy', its possible she can switch it on or off at will. I can do that, it ain't easy, but after a few years of practice...it can be done.
