Every Sunday there's meant to be a Psychology show,
and there are no Psychologists...
or any mental health professionals.

What's going on?

Anyone know?

There was 1 psychologist on Monday's show. Which was one more than the week before. They seem to have forgotten about it this year on the whole.

Didnt they use them more in the last few weeks when there was less actual action to air to pack the shows out.

From and editors point of view up to now they are bursting with footage and need little in the way of extra stuff

thought they used them more in the first couple of series when they were trying to justify the shows psychological experiment, now they know they're just puting out pure entertainment

I never liked it anyway ..i thought they tended to use it to influence the public..better of without it..let the Psychologist earn their wages the hard way like the rest of us

These days they seem to be only in the final week, they do the big 'end of series assesment' on the finalists...other than that it's just the odd word from em now and then.

Oh I liked it. I found it interesting. All that body language stuff etc, I took mental notes of many and look out for them in real life.
Sometimes though people scratch their nose simply because it itches!

@ HD. I remember once being on a course for this kind of thing, connected towork and was told that the way I had my arms was very negative blah blah blah. I shut the guy up when I told him that I actually had hurt my arm and it was covered in bruises, so I was trying to keep it away from the arm of the chair.

I've disliked the psychology show since series one, partly because if I wanted to watch a condescending, pretentious bloke mixing observations of dubious quality with completely obvious statements I'd rather watch Derek, but mostly because it used to mean we didn't get to see anything that happened the day before. Hopefully it will be completely gone by BB7, and the Psychologists demoted to an occasional guest appearence on BBLB.

The psychologists are definitely watching this year's BB, but instead of appearing on the Sunday shows, they decided to collaborate and release a book about this year's show:

Women Who Bitch Too Much

(Includes a chapter on garrulous gays and their mischievous ways.)
