It's official - the Big Brother voting public prefer personality-free, fake-breasted crybabies to funny, lively, shouting housemates.

On Friday, Orlaith stayed in while Science got evicted. Normally we'd be very upset at this, but we won a bit of cash from Betfair when Science went, so we're not too sad.

Now there are seven housemates left, and three weeks left (we think). So who will win? Here are the hecklerspray and Betfair.com betting odds on the winner of Big Brother 6...

Kemal - Although he started as the favourite to win Big Brother, Kemal's chances have slowly slipped. Now he's the least favourite to win. It's hard to tell if he's genuinely confused about Makosi, or if he's playing up to all the constant "I love you, I hate you" nonsense with her. Either way, he isn't going to win. And he looks like an old lady, too. Current odds - 15/1

Craig - Nobody really wants Craig to go: he's being such an immense monomaniacal divvy about Anthony that his cycle of grinning wildly or crying his eyes out keeps speeding up with every passing day. And it's entertaining as hell. In years to come, people will remember BB6 for Anthony and Craig. Having said that, though, he's a bit of a fool and he's got enormous breasts. So he won't win. Current odds - 29/2

Eugene or Orlaith - Still appearing under the 'Anyone Else' guise, Eugene and Orlaith continue to share the same odds. But Orlaith is proven to be unpopular - only beating Science by half a percent on Friday - and Eugene has morphed into Derek's mini-manslave, so neither of them are desperately popular at the moment. Current odds - 9/1

Derek - Derek's popularity peaked a few weeks ago, but all his problems with Science have done him no favours. His previously dormant malicious side has surfaced again, and it's turned the public off. He almost faced eviction last week, so his chances of winning keep on slipping and slipping. Current odds - 21/2

Makosi - She's not as popular as she was, but she's not as unpopular either. With every eviction, Makosi loses one potential follower, and she's having to start to fend for herself a bit more. Sometimes this can be endearing; sometimes - like her relationship with Kemal - it's a little more troubling; and - as anyone who saw her wail her way around the doggy assault course knows - sometimes it's just pretty bloody weird. Current odds - 14/3

Anthony - Anthony has the best odds to win of any Big Brother housemates so far this series. He's turned into the placid, if a bit vain and completely moronic, voice of reason. His odds are amazing, so unless he does something incredibly stupid again (like getting really drunk and getting jiggy with Makosi), it looks very much like he'll win. Current odds - 8/9

Tomorrow we'll give you a run down on who's likely to be nominated, but for now, head over to Betfair.com and have a bet on the winner. Remember that this market is so changeable that you really have a chance with anyone - plus the odds are much better. You might even win some money.

Anthony will probably win, he's not particuarily offence
(if a little bland and one-dimensional  )

The ladies and teenage girls will pick up their phones, and vote for him. {@}

Indeed, the teenie texters are a force not to be under-estimated. However, they never really did it for Stuart last year, they kinda gave up on him when the crunch time to support him came.

Does Anthony have the 'woah' factor for the ladies?

Calrissian: remaining to be seen

far from it for me to start quoting myself... (ohh lord, does that make me seem egotistic?)...

however. last year I noted...

Quote:
Stu-pid fails to make the final night

For Stuart to get just 134,337 votes - out of a total of 1.9 million was a truly dreadful performance. To think that he never received a single nomination during his entire stay ! Yet when it came to the final week vote, the public needed something to 'latch onto' and Stuart simply never provided anything of note. Should we blame Michelle's shadow effect for some of this ? I think we can blame Michelle partly for Stuart's premature exit from the house. Just reflect back to the early weeks of BB5, back to the days of Tiagra, when Stuart was more 'alive' and a far more dynamic housemate before Ms Bass got her talons stuck into him ;)

Stuart: Received just 7% of the midweek vote.

I've argued since Day'1 that Anthony is bland, a 'wallpaper' housemate. The more I think about it, the more I can't decide if he has 'done enough' to capture the publics 'passion', or if really...he'll go the way of Stuart in the final week.

Calrissian: ahh yes...BB5...those were the days ()^

there's every chance that the final could be a close-call.
Wouldn't that be an irony? when every week Davina, claims the voting is close (when it rarely is).

Just for the sake of reference, the other votes last year were:

Nadia: 3,863,696
Jason: 1,335,246
Dan: 685,995
Shell: 347,051

On that basis, surely Anthony will struggle to break a million votes?
(This post will come back to haunt me when Anthony breaks all voting records to become the most successful HM ever ) ::lol::

i wouldn't be at all suprised, if the voting for the final, was an all time low.

Bring back Maxwell I say, would be a damn site more interesting rather than just having to watch Craig have his heart broken every two minutes by chasing a lost cause, or Makosi bitch behind peoples backs or Kemal screaming like a muppet!

the big-cheeses have got to do something, Pikey, thats for sure.
The show is dying on it's ass. :-?

I wouldn't be at all suprised if there was, one last-gasp, desperate stunt, still to come, to try and boost interest/viewing figures.
:-?

mary's re-introduction, would fit the bill, but i'm not sure how it would work. ${

I don't think they should bring back an evicted HM. Or put someone new in. Which means...either put Kinga in, since she was never evicted properly, or import someone from BB in another country, like when Anouska went to BB Oz.
Failing that, do something like the rich/poor divide in BB3. My task idea of BB Prison would suffice, a couple of them as wardens, the rest as prisoners.
