CELEBRITY Love Island's Calum Best last night spoke for the first time about his fling with Orlaith McAllister as the Belfast girl faced another week in Big Brother.
Defending her bare-boobed behaviour on the reality TV show, the son of football legend George Best said Orlaith was "a really cool girl".
Calum, who met the model in a Belfast nightclub earlier this year, said: "I met up with her a couple of times and I think she's a great girl, a really cool girl.
"Sure, some of her antics on the show might have been a bit scandalous but at the end of the day I haven't a bad word to say about her.
"Let's face it, it's not like I'm going to have a problem with her flashing her boobs, they are a very nice set of boobs after all."
On Big Brother, Orlaith spoke about her dates with the hunk and said he was perfect boyfriend potential.
He said: "I have been so busy since Celebrity Love Island I haven't really had time to watch Big Brother, but I heard what she is supposed to have said about me and I'm very flattered."
Calum, who was in Ulster this weekend for a personal appearance at Katy Daly's in Strabane, said he was now on the look-out for love.
On Love Island he was linked with Rebecca Loos, but he admitted he had not met up with her since.
"I have kept in touch with Fran, Lee and Jayne and I've seen Rebecca out and about but it was a holiday romance and that was all," he said.
"I'd love to meet a nice Irish girl so maybe I'll get lucky this weekend. If not, I'm hoping to come back to Belfast soon. I always have a great time in Northern Ireland, after all that's were my blood is from."
On dad George, Calum said: "He's been having a bit of a rough time recently with the press, but then that's nothing new. They've been giving him a bashing since 1968. But he is a good man who is just trying to get on with his life.
"He's got a new girlfriend now and he's having a good time so I wish people would just leave him alone and stop making up stories about him that are just not true."
