The Housemates usually use the weekly shopping list as an excuse for a barney, but it was eerily calm as the gang selected their food this week.

Success in the Spy task means that there is more than enough money to go round, and so the food-loving bunch can forego the usual arguments about whether pasta is more important than bananas.

And of course there was no Science around to stir up trouble. His insistence that "fish fingers are not a luxury item" caused all sorts of budgetary problems in the past.

But of course, the shopping list couldn't pass off without just a teensy little argument. Makosi, Kemal and Orlaith refused to come into the living area to add to the list because of the smell.

"We're not coming in here 'cos it stinks," Kemal told the shopping list crew. "Can we do the second half of the list outside?" he asked.

There was a tense moment, as Anthony told Kemal they would not move the board into another room, but Kemal relented and agreed to leave the list in the others' hands.

Well, there's a turn up for the books - a calm shopping list!

No way.

We spoke too soon. An argument about food has kicked off between Kemal and Anthony as the shopping list caused another trolley load of strife.

Anthony had decided to take charge of the list this week, writing each food stuff onto the board and overseeing the operation.

It was all going swimmingly until Kemal announced that he would like to add some luxury items to the list, but would not enter the living area because of the smell.

After Anthony's repeated refusal to take the board out of the room, Kemal started to get rather irate. After all, it was his expert secret agent efforts that had secured the luxury food budget in the first place.

"I just want to see what else is on there," Kemal said loudly.

"F****** hell, I've only done it once," Anthony said, refusing to surrender control of the board.

"I'm taking hold of the shopping list and if I'm not happy with it I'm changing it!" Kemal shouted.

At this point he decided to reveal his identity as the double agent. "I had to go through all that for 48 hours just so you could get that luxury shopping budget," he told Anthony angrily.

"So what?" Anthony responded, unimpressed by Kemal's claims.

Oh dear, it was all getting a bit nasty and when Anthony tried to lighten the mood by joking that he'd put Kemal's head in the bin, the belly dancer was not at all amused.

"Don't touch me," he pouted.

"Shut up," Anthony jeered.

Oh dear. They never have this sort of problem on Supermarket Sweep, do they Dale?

In fairness, Kemal was the one that invented the rule that the HMs up for eviction have no say in the shopping list...so he should have been asking to add luxury items to it, though i don't think thats the reason Ant was being arsey about it.

I personally think that as Kemal did the task then he should have decided where to do it/what to put on it etc. It is fair...

I wonder if Anthony was getting arsey about it, because Eugene said he was dull and so he thought he had better change and become more argumentative.
