CONTESTANT Derek Laud went from the Big Brother house to Neil and Christine Hamilton's mansion near Hullavington after being evicted on Friday night.

Mr Laud 41, from London, stayed with the couple until Monday morning when he went to London to do an interview which Mr Hamilton had set up with The Sun newspaper.

It marked a busy weekend for the Hamiltons and Derek because, together with ex-Big Brother contestant Kemal, they celebrated Derek's birthday in London on Monday evening.

Mr Hamilton said: "Derek is on top form, he's delighted to be out. He was incarcerated with those ghastly people and he was more mature and adult than the others. He is firing on all cylinders."

The former MP said Derek had entertained them with the inside story about the events inside the Big Brother house. Mr Hamilton said: "He liked Kemal, Kinga and Eugene. He detests Craig and Max and wasn't too fond of Orlaith."

I would say the 3 of them, Christine, Neil and the skanky bitch Derek are the ghastly people from where I'm sitting.....

He is not the only one with inside stories and I'm sure Craig, Max and Orlaith will be delighted the skanky bitch does not like them, they are after all used to a better class of people.

Big Brother's Derek shot straight from the hip, saying he was glad that Craig was evicted and that Eugene should win the Big Brother crown.

"I think it was about time the curtains went down on Craig and I think that was a good choice and it was the right choice," he said frankly.

The former political speechwriter went on to claim that he would not have accepted the £50,000 offered by Big Brother - unlike his friend Eugene.

"I would have felt that I was cheating someone else of what was rightfully theirs," he stated.

Derek said he hoped the public would think that Eugene only accepted the £50,000 because it was an advance and that the remainder will come to him on Friday.
