A SHEFFIELD supply teacher who featured on a reality TV spin-off show is calling on South Yorkshire folk to give him their vote when he hits the small screen again tomorrow.

Simon Wells performed his self-penned techno tune "Song for Big Brother" on Channel 4's "Big Brother's Little Brother" hosted by Dermot O'Leary.

His performance was such a hit that he featured in Dermot's column in celebrity magazine Heat, and he has been invited back to compete against other acts in a bid to find the public's favourite performer.
Simon, aged 32, from Fulmer Road, Hunters Bar, said: "It's the summer holidays now and I was a bit bored so I wrote the song on my laptop and sent it in. It was the first time I have been on telly and I'm looking forward to going back.

"If I get enough votes, I will get to perform a new song the weekend after to mark the end of Big Brother 2005."
Simon, whose stage name is Techno Teacher, donned a white chemical warfare suit and strung a VW Golf badge around his neck for his appearance.

He said: "The others were a bit boring, they just stood there and played the guitar - I was the only one with a costume."
The English teacher, whose song even included a line about Sheffield's own evicted Big Brother contestant, Roberto Conte - "Roberto spills food on Maxwell's head" - added: "If I win I'll be taking a comedy musical act to the Edinburgh fringe festival."

Simon will appear again on Big Brother's Little Brother at 1.30pm tomorrow on Channel 4.
