Its all down to long term visibility and promotion of BB. Endermol wants those pennies for years to come. Even as winner Eugene will revert back to normal life sooner than most of the others, which isn't good column inches for Endermol over the next 9 months.
Anthony on the other hand will create lots of PR for them if he is the winner.

I know its cynical and sad, but we've seen this sort of manipulation so many times before. BB looks after himself most of all.

They've tried to show Anthony as 'funny' for weeks, which hasn't worked very well because he's just not.

Was watching a clip of Eugene last night, it showed him getting stressed out about the fact that the housemates had left their dirty dishes lying around. I think this would p**s me off a bit as well to be honest. Can't see why dirty dishes should be left around the place.

Anthony is ripe, for nightclub P.R's....women only/gay nights,
at nightclubs/ bingo halls etc.

Can't see the p.r angle/ Endermol exposure, for a Eugene win.

dont you think itas time endemol realised that promoting who they want does not work, they have been desperate for makosi or derek or science to win none of them seem to be in the running. the GP want one thing they push their own buttons this show will fall flat unless the public are allowed to have thei say.

Next year I think all those who support the selective editing/conspiracy theories should get their friends (or multiple personalities) together and each pick a housemate on day one. Then spend the next ten weeks explaining why the editing is all against their elected muppet. I bet you could see a bias against absolutely anybody if you tried hard enough.

It occurs to me that whoever is behind in the vote will be shown favourably to gather in more money. That's what I think happens with normal evictions. Anybody who's vote is low/in danger of being evicted will be shown favourably and their opponent unfavourably so that Ch.4/Endemol gain the maximum money from EVERYONE.

In my cynical way, I don't think Ch.4/Endemol care who wins, all they care about is syphoning more of (y)our money. They won't be getting my money, it's enough they steal hours of my life watching this trash. But it's fun trash.

Of course, it's all paranoid bollox. Ch.4/Endemol only edit to create an entertaining show. That's the truth. And HM provide the content. So long as they have people watching they are guaranteed to have people phoning in/texting, etc. The more entertaining the shows, the more people watch and the more audience there is to milk.

They can safely edit in Uber-Bore Eugene's favour this week as they are guaranteed people will be watching, if only to make sure the series ends and we can go back to better lives!

Of course my theory itself is bollox. If Ch.4/Endemol are so careful to produce entertaining shows, how can this square with having to suffer any episode of BBLB?
