Well done Eugene. He is not to know that he is one of the most popular house mates so he made the correct decision

First off, it's pretty cruel to make anyone choose, but very entertaining.

Secondly, I am VERY surprised he took the money. Not such a nice, selfless guy huh?

Thirdly, shouldn't he only get the £50,000, even if, as is likely, he wins? Big Brother said the winner would only get £50,000, so if Eugene wins, he already has that, so the other half should go to charity. Retired children's TV stuffed cats are often deserving causes.

Fourthly, it's funny how Eugene has just done himself out of the extra £100,000!!!

Fifthly, do all you idiots, erm I mean, wise, kind people who want Eugene to win now regret voting for the self-serving little drip?

I agree with Jim.

Think the rest of them would do it in his situation, he doesn't seem to have this 'want' to have millions of deals with magazines so why not get something out of it while he can?

I don't know what Davina meant but Eugene not hearing the same thing as the other housemates. Perhaps the choice was not so straight forward for him as it seemed to us.

I wouldn't have, because I would feel like a thief from stealing from the winner. Even if I hated the others. Yeah, I know it's easy to say, but I honestly think I would decline. I'm not money-oriented, which is probably why I have so little.

Ant for one said he wouldn't have taken the money, but then he's probably thinking he's gonna win. Plus he knew of the delayed gratification trick BB was pulling. It's easy to say that.

Makosi said the same, but she's a lying bitch. She would have taken the money. She too thinks she's gonna win, but she'd want whatever she could get "for Makosi" as soon as possible.

I don't mind Eugene taking the 'filthy lucra' but him getting all teary with the other hms and saying he knows what he's done may be 'morally wrong'

I think the prize fund being 200k instead of 100k if he declined was not known by him.

There's no maybe about it - what he did WAS morally wrong. Slimy get!

Why did you decide to go in for Big Brother Eugene?

Was it the experience ?was it to win something in life?Was it to meet new different people you otherwise wouldn't meet?was it to make one or two lifelong freiends?was it to find romance with another housemate?Was it to discover yourself?Was it to become more confident?Was it to be on TV? was it to stand on the shoulders of giants?

No it was to grab a bag of cash and run out of the house.

Eugene will have a hard time coming to terms with events when the two "I am the WINNER" Housemates tell him the bit he didn't hear.

I still think he made the correct decission, now we will have to wait and see what the bookies make of it tomorrow
