I don't really wish to spoil anyone else's enjoyment of the night... but I'm so gutted. In fact I'm about to go off on one so you should probably read this tomorrow.

Firstly the Booing! What the hell was that about? I can almost understand it on a regular eviction evening when the crowd is aware that those in the House can hear them. A few weeks ago it was used to spectacular effect when Devina said each HM's name and the crowd booed or cheered at the appropriate place. And of course it serves a purpose in that it affects what happens in the House to a greater of lesser degree.

But tonight? What purpose does booing serve at the final? The votes have already been counted and that particular HM is walking down the steps.

Worse, far worse, it completely spoils the exit for a finalist. These people have bared their souls (good and bad) to the viewing public, they've entertained us for 11 weeks and exposed themselves and their loved ones to the full glare of publicity... and we thank them by subjecting them to this? I think the so called fans at the eviction - and those who have cheered them on tonight - should start thinking VERY carefully. Not only are you alienating the viewing public at home and turning people off but you're also frightening away future contestants.

Mekosi has done nothing to deserve this treatment. More to the point, the millions watching at home did nothing to deserve it either. A couple of hundred people turned the eviction into a farce. Devina and Mekosi were never going to hold a sensible interview in that climate. Poor Mekosi had nowhere to go but basically stick two fingers up to the audience and give bolshi answers in defence of the onslaught.

I tell you now, these so called fans are going to ruin it for everyone. If you marginalise the show it will lose its peak time slots and A'List presenters, it might even end up on UK Living (seriously). Next year the interviews may well be held inside the House or in a studio (which has happened before) depriving us of any kind of real live audience atmosphere. We could also see the public being barred from the final... I'm sure they can find 400 invited guest and friends and family of the HM's.

I should also say that I accept Channel4 has some responsibility for this too. As Mekosi was being evicted, the feed on E4 was asking the Text Question: "How do you think the HM's will be greeted by the crowd?". Devina and Co have also said similar things in the past. To that end, I'll be writing to them.... really, I'm that livid!

Okay the other disappointment is more personal....

I think we picked the wrong winner. Someone on here suggested we should vote for Anthony because he would give the best interview... well that didn't happen did it?

Eugene gave a superb exit and interview. He was charming, genuine and gracious to the last. Anthony? Well he posed for the cameras, waved to his mates, posed some more and generally ignored everything else. He clearly thought he'd won it and once confirmed, for him, the show was over. And no, I don't think it was winner's nerves. I honestly don't think he'll be a good ambassador for Big Brother... I'll wager he'll be one of the worse we've ever had.

However, that said, its a game show and he won it... so I wish the best to him.

Sorry to finish on a down but the final nights have nothing like the excitement they used to have. Maybe its just me?

I don't mind people booing or cheering whoever they like, they're usually a fair reflection on the majority of viewers feelings after all, but I agree completely with you when you say:

I wasn't very excited by tonight either, though I can't put my finger on why...perhaps because there wasn't a single person I passionately wanted to do well this series I didn't really care what happened too much. Anthony's interview was awful which left things on a low note, especially as they kept cutting to Craig, Saskia and Maxwell, who let's not forget have been 3 of the most unpopular HMs this series.
It'll be interesting to see how many votes were made, I'll be genuinely surprised if it's more than BB4s.

Yes welcome back John... I was abit peeved with the booing too... I don't mind people making their feelings felt but the interview was ruined because neither Davina nor Makosi could concentrate. And I agree too that Makosi really had two choices - cry or bolshy it out. She is too proud to cry. I don't know.. it was a difficult one really because she had done so much to complain about but she had also been very entertaining in there. And if people hated her so much why was she third? :-?

Sorry darling... I washing my hair ;)

Nah, seriously... That nice Mr Cameron emailed just before BB6 started but I've been rather busy recently. I'm not only love sick (after almost 18 months) but I'm running my mates restaurant and running my business too. In fact I'm just off to lock-up now (20 mile round trip).

Big Brother for me this year has consisted of routinely checking the Ch4 website and catching the odd show on Ch4... luckily I caught more towards the end and I was determined to post 'something' today. In fact I actually started two topics... more than I do most series in total.

Anyway, I'll try and spend some more time here over the next few months... as you can imagine, I still have lots to say - insert evil laugh.

Oh Hi too to Milly and Blagman,

Just realised I still can't spell Davina... nor it seems Makosi. This is what happens when you take some time off ;)

Catch you all later :D

I think davina really should have done the makosi interview in side. I can understand why people dislike makosi but they way she was treated tonight was bang out of order

I agree the crowds behaviour was appaling tonight especially towards Makosi and Davina did nothing to encourage some support for the girl. if nothing else she has been a talking point I was shocked at the treatment she recieved. The chanting and baying for her blood was way OTT

I do agree if the fans keep going too far with their "opinionated booing", future contestants will think twice before going on the show. I never got to see Makosi's exit or interview, i had E4 on all the time. I never thought of switching over to Channel4, but never mind.

dont think the interview was that bad, but rather the way she was set up for later one for Anthony's interview. Don't think tonight was as bad as some are making out.

If Derek never got booed by the crowd, then i don't see why Makosi should have. Derek SHOULD have been booed by the crowd, are people out there blind as to what Derek was doing in the house?? Kinga said she liked Derek, i just put this down to the fact that she hadn't spent enough time in the house with the man. I'll see if i can get the interview taped tomorrow, and then see what it was like for her.

I thought Makosi got just what she deserved and it's only a shame she didn't get it earlier. She is and was as cold as ice and has a black heart. She doesn't give a damn about anyone or their feelings so why care about hers? I doubt she has any anyway.

I thought the constant chants of "of, off" and "liar, liar" were a bit distracting to say the least..
mind you she didnt help her cause by being so full of herself...
