Well, he certainly knows how to do a half decent chicken impression!

Eugene phoned today - he's really busy with radio shenanigans as you might imagine, amongst other things. He's been having a blast and he was sounding really cheery and up-beat. He was comparing the merits of train travel and road travel and regaling me with tales of my brother's trousers at work and the like. What a guy Eugene is. Big Brother is the richer for having had him in the house.

shame we viewers weren't tho

Maybe some of us weren't, but many of us were. Isn't that one of the beauties of the concept - the differences of opinion?

I hate to admit it but I agree with thehippo, sorry Cam, still don't think Eugene should of been in Big Brother.
Then again, I'm sure some smart arse will be saying that nobody from BB4 should of been on Big Brother so got to it first
Good Luck to him anyway, what's done is done and I'm glad he's enjoying the aftermath, especially after hearing some of the stories from h/ms this year after leaving the BB house.

I tend to agree with you Ray but he was the BEST of a bad bunch as far as the viewers went.
Glad he is doing well and I wish him luck in the future.

I personally thought that Anthony was the best and that he deserve to win over Eugene. I do wish him luck though!

I do know what you mean Madeline about Eugene collecting an award. He did seem to act much more confidently once he left the BB house

have to say cam, a lot of people slagged you for being a boring bb winner, but you were literally a million times more entertaining than him, and so was ray :angel:

See, personally I prefer people who go into the house like Eugene. He was a breath of fresh air - honest and upfront, and the kind of person I think anyone would have been glad to have as their friend.
He made the house a lot more real for some of the viewers - with all the tensions and back-biting going on, he brought a teeny wee bit of normality into the house.

And I'm really glad he's enjoying himself out of the house - good on him!

Eumean did eniugh back-biting and bitching with his best friend Derek. IMO, he went into the house with a well thought out game plan and to his credit the game plan worked.

Some people thought that about me too though Madeline. However, I do genuinely respect your opinion and can even see why you think the way you do so, as my Granny would have said, "I'm no' arguing wae you" lol.

I don't think I appreciated Eugene as much as I should have done whilst he was in the house. Looking back, he *was* a breath of fresh air.

At the time, I don't think I could warm to him, and appreciate his quirkiness, because of his alliance with Derek (my most hated BB housemate ever).
Since the end of the show though, I've really warmt to him, and he had me in stitches when I met him.
He did seem more confident than he had done in the house, but at the same time, he was still the same old Eugene.
