Derek Laud – the ex-lobbyist and Thatcher speechwriter who took part in Big Brother 6 – has turned to Neil and Christine Hamilton to handle his media enquiries.
The couple, personal friends of Laud’s for more than two decades, are working alongside Keith Bishop at Soho-based MCS Agency to advise Laud and promote his interests.
They also advised the former MD of lobby shop Ludgate Laud before he
entered the BB house.
Christine Hamilton, who appeared in reality show I’m A Celebrity… told PRWeek: ‘He wants to do serious things and has been approached by a major TV company to do a programme on the Tory leadership.’
But she added: ‘I would be very surprised if Derek stood for parliament.’
