Oh dear, I wouldnt ordinarily unsheath the Minx Claws(tm) at this early stage in my new board love affair, people might think I am mean and cruel and heartless, but...

I really am quietly delighted for Chicken Stu. I couldnt abide Michelle as a housemate, partly because anyone with the pain threshold capable of coping with having your hair dragged that far away from your hairline on a permanent basis must have balls of steel, I found the way she went about securing her man in the house quite disturbing (one of those times where you find yourself screaming "FOR HEAVENS SAKE NO! THERE IS NO SECRET! ITS A RUSE! DONT DO IT CHICKEN STU!" at the telly, disturbing the bug-eyed monstrosity next door from her pungent slumber), and I have found the subsequent media monstrosity that was their union at best distasteful.

Give me a proper love story, aka Helen and Paul (girl meets boy in hugely public arena, girl already has boy outside, girl forgets outside boy due to being overwhelmingly blurry eyed with stars to the point of blink overload, boy pretends hes too cool to be interested but is secretly smitten, they live happily ever after managing to bypass the public insistence on knowing their every move and all is right with the world.)

To me, Michelles proclamation that Ant-nee would be a good successor to Chicken Stu (taken out of context from what she really said) is nothing more than a sad extension to what should have ended a long time ago, her attempt to milk that 15 minutes for as long as she could. Good on her for getting what she wanted. Shame on us for letting her.

I love BB, really I do. But I don't love the media saturation. I think it tarnishes some of the housemates and influences the way they behave and that's a shame.

Well said Minx,

Loved the comment "anyone with the pain threshold capable of coping with having your hair dragged that far away from your hairline on a permanent basis must have balls of steel"

Best laugh I have had for ages ()^
